Saw the commercial today...
Apparently they are gonna air that episode with the KITT replica this Sunday the 30th, so be sure to watch MTV Cribs. Not for sure who owns it, as they haven't aired it yet, should be a good one to record and post here!

You're talking about a different car. There was one that was restored by him a few years ago that was sold at auction about 2 years ago. Last year he had another Original come in to be restored. And it was delivered a few months back to an unidentifed peron at the time in FL.
Now, Joey Fatone?!?!?!!?

Just watched the episdode, apparently it was an original from the show. What was cool that I never thought of was with the season 2 dash he had one screen for navigation and another a back up camera, very modern. He also had a system installed in the rear that matched the carpet color of the car. Very nice replica!

Thanks for the link, Joe! That is an awesome car. He mentioned it was the car used in the show. Does he mean that is the one that was actually used in filming? If so, did he get it from Mark's Custom Kits when it was on auction, I wonder? Because I know the film cars didn't have all those working electronics, etc. Or was he meaning to say it's just very accurate to the show?
But all that aside, that is one fine replica! Loved his other cars too.

That car was NEVER screen used. Barris built that car to personally drive around L.A. It was an exterior conversion only. If you look at the pics on Mark's site you can see that it originally had gold wheels. Barris later put a 1-tv dash with candy lights, steering wheel in it and sent it to the CARS OF THE STARS museum in Gatlinburg, TN. I personally know the owner. The owner of the museum got tired of it after a couple of years and Barris sent it to a museum in Florida. Then that museum went bankrupt and they auctioned off all their cars. I guess that's where Joey Fatone bought it. Mark asked the museum to pass along his contact info to the new owner if he wanted the car "restored". You know the rest. NOT SCREEN USED. That's what they say when these replica cars are auctioned with Barris' name on them. Helps run the price up. There are a lot of replica TV and movie cars out there that have been sold as screen used. Just Batmobiles alone is unbelievable. Hope I shed some light on this.

I was able to catch it last night at around 8:30p.m. EST here in the Cincinnati area. It was cool. I have a little bit more respect for Joey now. Never did like N'SYNC. I liked his grotto and his girls he had in it. Better than Hugh's!
One man CAN make a difference Michael.
