Yeah...because we're british and don't say it.
Let's see..kitt with a (tree) trunk or (elephant's) trunk sticking out at the back? Not good.
Why don't you spell the word (cashier's)'check' to 'Cheque'? Because your american and we don't spell it like that.

Who cares its trunk in america and boot in other places around so it doens't really matter its just a 'minor' difference in the language just like america say gas and others say petrol.

LoL, everyone done with their comment's? FULL STOP!
Michael: Kitt what matters to me is who you are not what you look like. Sure we don't have the car so we can't turbo boost so we can't go over 200 miles an hour but it was all icing on the cake anyway

I thought it ment, to close a sentence with a dot! Perhaps that's the case in just Great Britain and not America. :0

Full stop/Period are both used to mean the dot at the end of the sentence and for that reason both used in a debate to mean "That's it, no more discussion"

Actually, I prefer the classic 'Nuff Said!
But wait! Before we do, I have something to say in defense of "trunk". I was considering this and thinking about the lame animal references used to make it seem silly, but then it came to me; what about the TRUNKS used for storage in people's houses? You know, the sometimes ornate big wooden things sometimes found in people's rooms? Seeing as a trunk on a car stores items like a trunk in someone's house, wouldn't that be the logical connection? Something to think about.
Alright, it's time: 'Nuff said!
