KARR
Hi at all, I have a question about KARR's colour, I don't know if this has already been asked: Why KARR in the 6th episode of the 3rd season is half grey and half black? Wasn't it of the same colour as KITT is? Is there given any explanation?

KARR color
KARR always had grey on the bottom portion. The grey probably didn't go up as far on his first appearance though. I need to see the episodes again to see if they're different.

KARR in "Trust Doesn't Rust" is indeed identical to KITT.
However, about 2/3 way through "KITT vs KARR", KARR announces that he wished to change his appearance - and from then on appeared with the 2 tone paint. We never see him being repainted, he just appears like that.

ok, i've been reading the script which is on Knight rider archive. In one scene KARR says:
"I don't understand. I thought we were
friends. My circuitry needs repairs
and I want to alter my appearance. I
can reward you handsomely for your help."
It appears there was no actual scene where we see him being painted but later on in the show when we see him at the cash machine with John and the old lady the script notes say:
" EXT. BANK - DAY
It's early AM as K.A.R.R. slides out of an alley in the
morning light and pulls into a parking lot next to a small
bank. There's no one in sight except a little Old Lady
punching buttons at one of the windows marked, "Quick-Cash
-- 24 Hours". K.A.R.R., we now see, has been repainted
with John's help; black top, silver side panels. He looks
sharp."

It's a good question, but I like the One Man, One Car idea and I'm sure someone will come up a plausable reason why they couldn't do thisloneknight4000 wrote:could they not just change KARRs primary program to presevation of human life they built him they must know how to reprogramm him i mean kitt was reprogrammed in killer KITT so why not KARR they could then have hof in KIT and the new recuit in KARR what do you all think
