Knightmares

Post by Fenix The Best » Mon Jul 10, 2006 5:48 pm

Just watched the episode called Knightmares. And I just found something strange.

When Michael is at the Foundation estate with Devon and April, they try to convince him that Michael Long is dead and that he is now Michael Knight.
April shows him a newspaper article and there is written that Michael Long is presumed dead after his car was found in the desert.

And about this car. How it could been found in the desert when this car actually "became" Kitt?

That's just the thing: it didn't. Devon's ambiguous comment: "The similarities between that car and your own are purely superficial" (or something to that effect), meant they were two separate vehicles.
“Gimme maximum turbo thrust and blast me outta here, will ya!?”

Michael's Trans-Am WAS left in the desert, along with a body for the cops to find (I believe Wilton and Devon were talking about this in the pilot, about having to steal a body from the morgue so that the cops would think Michael was dead). KITT was not made from Michael's car...the only reason they gave Michael a black Trans-Am before his "death" was for foreshadowing (if you notice, the camera zooms in on the car when he gets into it, to make it obvious it's a Trans-Am). Michael just assumed that because KITT was a black Trans-Am that he was built from his car. Devon corrected him (though rather ambiguously).
