I attended my first car show. KITT got a lot of visitors, smiles, and countless photos taken. Many people visited KITT more than once. I didn't win anything, competition was really stiff, but it was alot of fun.

Nice KITT replica although the interior looks to be a stock Firebird (round steering wheel is visible). Antenna should also be removed. But a good replica nonetheless. :)

Yeah,

When I got the new fenders it had the opening for the antenna and I get zero reception without it, so I kept it. As far as the dash, I kept the stock dash for now but converted over the rest of the interior, including center console, seats and push button shifter. I am now looking at going with products from Knight Passions to complete the interior. But all of that takes $$$$$$$, if you know what I mean. In time, I'll complete it, but probably not this year.

You don't have to apologize to anyone for the antenna or stock
interior. Most people envy you because you have made a fantastic
car, a car that most of us will never be able to make.

Keep up the good work !!! :D

Thank you for the kind words, people like this make it worthwhile. My favorite part about this hobby is that everyone's replica is slightly different in some way, yet without sacrificing the accuracy of the replica. It's still a work in progress, and I can't wait to get the dash.

I agree with you 100 percent. When I finally do my replica it will probably be a mix and match of the best parts of KITT .
