Hello,
I just had this nagging thought that comes and goes concerning George Barris building KITT. I know that Michael Shiffe designed KITT but did Barris actually build him? ( I mean for the original pilot.)

NO!!!!!.....mr.barris was brought in after the 3rd season to build more cars for the show!....infact his crew did the spm kitt and convertible!

If thats the case then he really needs to take KITT off of his website or be specific with which KITTs he built.

i found this car once on accident while looking for pics of the coyote from hardcastle and mccormick, a car which barris also built.... i guess its his own personal ferrari....
look closely at it, you'll recognize it as the twin turbo Dagger DX from "knights of the fast lane"
