1:18 KITT Super Pursuit Mode Model

Hi everybody,

currently I build an 1:18 KITT with the SPM based on the ERTL model.
And now i need some pics,especially pics shoot at night!
I need also pics from the rear spoiler and the rear window.
I found pics on google and yahoo,but they`re all too small.

And here is the current status.

Yes,it was an original 1:18 Die Cast ERTL model.Like this one.

Do you have season 4 of Knight Rider on DVD? If you do, then maybe you can try using some of the screen shots of KITT in SPM from the dvd for reference to complete your SPM 1/18 KITT.....

Looking forward to the completed model!!!

Some screen captures of KITT in SPM from Knight of the Juggernaut that you can use for your model ..... Hope it helps!!!

Will also try to get some night shots of SPM KITT soon...

If you look at the bottom pic there is no fog lamps, but in the picture above there is. Are they set back really far or something??

Yes, looks that way. If you look at the pics above the bottom one you can see the black area around the fog lights, which then tells you how far back they are.

At first I thought it must be a goof but it doesn't look like it.

One discrepancy between the SPM car and the regular Hero Car is that the SPM car's spoiler has a point on it, similar to that of a Lamborghini's. And if we can get pictures of SPM during the day, can't we get some night shots as well?

Which ep. is the bottom pic at the airfield out of? I don't recall ever seeing that one.

Looks like it is from 'Knight of the Juggernaut.' That is the fourth season premiere when KITT is given SPM.

I was never a fan of SPM, but I have to admit, the red glow makes it look awesome!

Yeah, it looks cool at night, would have been better if was red in daylight too rather than the grey that it is. I think its the grey that spoils the look of SPM.

man just imagine how KARR would look with SPM...all the yellow or amber colored neon lights just like KITTs...

I think the model looks very similar to the original.But you decide....

I`ve got tons of pics from the "making of.."

The first step was to bought a brand new model.

After I had disassembled it.......

...i cut off the frontbumper.

And then i cut the bumper in two pieces.

And after 100 hours of cutting,sanding and painting........

And my next project will be KARR in SPM.
