OK everyone. If you were hyperthetically about to show someone (new to the series) the best episodes of Knight Rider (from all 4 seasons), which would you choose to showcase "the best" of the show? Here are my personal choices.

KNIGHT OF THE PHOENIX
It's the pilot, and it introduces all the main characters.

TRUST DOESN'T RUST
The introduction of KARR, and background info on the Foundation's history.

WHITE BIRD
The introduction of Stevie, and a look into Michael's past.

GOLIATH
The introduction of Garth.

SOUL SURVIVOR
Fan favourite - shows that KITT's programming can be altered.

KNIGHTMARES
A good look into the history of Michael.

GOLIATH RETURNS
Action packed sequel to Goliath.

KNIGHT OF THE DRONES
KITT's new look.

KITT VS KARR
Another fan favourite.

KNIGHT IN DISGRACE
Well written, plot twisting, and exciting episode.

JUNK YARD DOG
A unique character driven episode.

KNIGHT OF THE JUGGERNAUT
A good look into the history of the Foundation and Jennifer Knight's plot to shut it down. Also includes the introduction of RC3 and KITT's SPM.

KILLER KITT
An action packed fan favourite.

THE SCENT OF ROSES
Series ending qualities all round.

As you can see I've chosen 3 episodes from seasons 1 and 4... and 4 each from seasons 2 and 3 (the best seasons IMHO). These are the episodes that I feel represent the "best" that Knight Rider has to offer.
I'd like to hear what you all think of the selections. I think you have to limit it to about 14 episodes or so out of the 84 produced. The episodes I've chosen also represent a story and character continuity - hence why Killer KITT plays before The Scent Of Roses.

01, Race for Life - The most mautre and human episode of the whole series
02, Junk Yard Dog - Gives great insight into the relationship between our heroes
03, Kitt VS Karr - you don't want me to say why is it good, do you???
04, Trust Doesn't Rust - same as above
05, Knight of the Juggernaut - I actually like SPM...
06, Knight of the Drones - Te drone idea was good and the new dash rocks
07, Dead of Knight - aired today, I saw it after 14 years(!). It was cool!
08, Pilot/Knight of the Phoenix - Nice episode, albeit minimal introduction of the characters
09, Goliath - It was frightening, yet interesting to see that Kitt is not invulnerable
10, The Scent of Roses - One of the saddest episodes, it was bad that they didn't use it as the final episode
11, Ring of Fire - good concept and ideas, nice Turbo Boost at the end
12, A Good Knight's Work - the "Trouble with Tribbles" episode, starts as fun and ends as a thriller
13, Soul Survivor - Funny and interesting with another beautiful Turbo Boost
14, Killer Kitt - Okay, the idea was re-used from Soul Survivor, but it was a good episode

I like all your picks but the "Knight of the Drones" I would replace that one with,
"Chariot of Gold"
This eps showed me that
1) You would think that anyone that works at the Foundation would safe from harm, even out side of the work area.....
2) Michael loved Bonnie "alot more than he is suppose to" (Thank You StarGate)
3) Even Kitt can be taken avantaged of by friends (and even those that are under the influence of drugs)
And this point is to all those SG-1 fans
4) Yes, even "On-World" archeology dig-site can be hazardous to your health. That is why I say that you should always have a friendly Jaffa or a trusty P90/Zat Gun with you at all times.....

Another point that "GOLIATH RETURNS" proves is that even the Foundation can be targated, and if that person(s) is really determined to lets say kidnap your boss or your AI Technician/ the woman you wish that you can date but won't give you the time of day, then a skippy little fence will not stop him....

I'd throw in there also Knight and Knerd as well as The Nineteenth hole. Knight and Knerd because it's just plain HILARIOUS and The Nineteenth hole shows how people just can't get to KITT. Also because the ending shows just how fast KITT is. So much shows off KITT's abilities in this one.

Nice Little Indecent Town is another good one, with KITT on the lift and depending on the lady to get him down. That scene where he just suddenly activates the scanner after she tries to get him to talk. Almost eerie! If it were KARR even *I* would have had to go change my underwear!
