Possible candidates for KITT Conversion

Post by theevolved1 » Wed Feb 01, 2006 4:34 pm

Not that I have the money but ive been looking these up alot lately hoping to find a car at a decent price to be able to do a conversion on. So here are some possibilities I found on E-bay. Id like to hear your opinions on these.

Candidate #1

Candidate # 2

Candidate #3

I think Candidate #1 is probably the best of the 3 as far as the look and the least ammount of work its going to need. The only problem I have with it is that it dosnt have T-Tops.

You're best off with the white one I think. Less mechanical problems I think. Read the descriptions carefully. Plus, the white one has the PMD seats! Those can be hard to come by. All you'd need to do is have the interior reupholstered in that dove tan color.

I would take the 1st and 3rd ones. Why the 3rd one is close to where I am moving back to in AZ to start college.(and my grandmother lives about 10 minutes away from Gilbert) And 1st already has the tubro cast wheels.

the #1 car would be the best choice since most the near mint conditioned cars around are well kept plus that car has pmd's,rims,caps,etc,etc!.....all it needs it the correct hood and paint job and the T-top option can be
done anytime unless you like the hard top?...that just save you from worring about leaks and what not!

If I had the MONEY! I would get the white one! It's an '82 (just like KITT) AND IT'S CLOSER TO WHERE I LIVE! AND DOESN'T HAVE AS MANY MILES. Though If I won the Lotto *wishful thinkin'* I would get the one on EBay that's already done! 8)
