Ok cool, I'm onto the dash.

With respect to #86 - the lower console. There's a bit that sticks out vertically (which also the bit where you glue). Did KITT have this? Is it meant to be there? Did anyone else cut that bit off (it's what I'm thinking of doing)?

I think that little bit was put there in order to support the dashboard. If we moved the dash forward, then that little bit won't support anything (or will partially support). I plan to remove mine when I get to that part. I've so far finished up to section 12 of my MPC and plan to finish it by early 2006. I've finished an AMT version two years ago but wasn't happy with the results so I threw it away. Hopefully this time I'll get it right.

It's your call...to remove or not to remove that bit. :)
