The Wednesday edition of The New York Times, (yes, THE New York Times) has a half-page feature about people who build Hollywood car replicas. They talk about the General Lee and the Batmobile, but a good junk of the article seems to be focused on Knight Rider. They have color photos of Scott Rice and Don Colie (from Knight Registries) with KITTs.

I do wonder though, how difficult it must be to make a Batmobile Replica?
We all know, KITT is a Trans Am....
The General Lee is a Dodge Charger....
But the Batmobile was a Futura Concept Car, so there are not any project cars to begin with I presume? Hmm, just a thought
