Computerized Car Crash Avoidence in New Cars

Post by FuzzieDice » Tue Oct 04, 2005 12:40 pm

I found this on Yahoo and found it interesting:

New cars help drivers avoid crashes

It also addresses the concern of drivers feeling like a computer is controlling the car. Personally, I'd love it - it'd be more like KITT. :) Also the article mentions what if the car's computers shut down. Apparently there are safeguards to prevent K.A.R.R. incidents.

Cars are getting more and more like K.I.T.T every year!
