If only I had a nickel for every time someone cut me off on the parkway and wished for a Turbo-Boost or Micro-jammer...

Wow. That's one knockout of a replica. And it's for sale. Anyone know where this guy's garage is? I want to pay it a little nighttime visit before the auction ends... :shifty:

I found it a teeny bit funny that this guy obviously did a lot of difficult work to get the car as show-accurate as possible and he left the hood badge on, something any idiot with a chisel would be able to take off. :D

Oh...so....pretty....*goes dewy eyed*

He's lowered the price a tad....it has been on e-bay before at around 25K I believe.

Perhaps he'll lower it to, oh, around $8K so I can afford it?

*stares at the pretty car some more*

it's gorgeous, but how could it not be? *sigh* if only I could afford it. even if i could i don't think my parents would appreciate me driving home in a car i bought while at school (college). i'd probably be living in it then, which you come to think of it wouldnt be that bad.

This replica is not screen accurate. Its not even close.

Let me count the ways
  • GTA badges
    Brown interior instead of tan
    Nose is misaligned
    A pillar pods
    Small, inaccurate gullwing wheel
Guages aren't calibrated unless he's doing 15mph in reverse in that pic
Center console is nowhere near accurate and what are the round green things?
Pods have no labels and buttons look horrible
Looks like the bottom set of LEDs are broken at the bottom of the gas pedal
    Cheap autozone special brake pedal

This is a $10k car at best and that's being generous. I would be surprised if he didn't have trouble selling it for $8k.

It looks like we've found the replica that the 1/18th scale model seems to have been based on! Man that's like a spitting image of it! Yes, yes I know its not exactly like it. But at first glance it comes close. As for the real K.I.T.T., not exactly and that's an understatement. Still wouldn't mind owning it though if the guy had a reasonable price.

"Body is clean with absolutely no damage." Uh, check out the picture with the close-up of the GTA emblem on the hood. Looks like a little bit of rust on the bottom there. They call that body damage where I come from.

The owner posted a thread about it on the Registries. It's a Diamond Back Auto's Replica. He bought the car from a previous owner. It has the old products from Rob. Or a copy of the old products from Rob. I'll look for the thread but I got to get to school shortly. :(

that things is a half assed replica. The Nose doesnt line up with the hood at all. Its not a GTA Never was, and never will be lol. Hes got wire ties hangingi down from under the dash. I could make a better replica. NOT worth 20K. He'd be lucky to get 10 for that.
