Question about the Knight Rider games on Playstation 2.

I just bought the brand new "slim" playstation 2 which plays all playstation 1 and 2 games, it's really small to lol, but does Knight Rider 1 and 2 play in the new playstation 2, or only the "older" versions. I can't get it around IL but I can get it online, but if it woun't work then I won't even bother, so please let me know if someone has tried it out yet, thanks!

The only version of the Knight Rider games you can get in the US is the Knight Rider The Game (1st Game) on pc,and the old Nintendo Knight Rider game.If your lucky in finding it,but you can download that off the internet easy.The Knight Rider ps2 games are only for European PS2's.There's a difference in disc in the US,and Europe.The european games will not be able to play on your Playstation 2.So the Nintendo,and first Knight Rider game by Davilex is in the US for sell.You can maybe find it used in a video game store,or you can order it off

Damn. I'm was bidding on one on ebay, but chances are it won't work. Why won't the us playstations play every game?

The disc is probably region-coded, same as DVD discs are labeled Region 1 for Canada and US, Region 2 for Europe, Region 3 for Asia...etc.

Also, besides the coding the discs video format is set for European TV settings which is PAL. American TVs are NTSC.

If your bidding on that game.I'd suggest emailing the seller,that you made a mistake,or go to a chip website,that get a PS2 chip that will play any region code disk,and get a pal signal for your tv.Sorry only nintendo,and pc of Knight Rider 1 is avilable.

Thanks everyone. Thank God I got outbid.
I really want to play that game even though everyone says it sucks. Hopefully soon US will get the release. Until then I'll drive the General Lee.

Sorry chances are the it will never be released in the US.Davilex has not given no word about it,and the does really really suck.It's really a bad game,and poor graphics.
