KRO Signature Quote Ficathon

Post by knightshade » Mon Jan 10, 2005 7:45 am

So here we go. The first KRO ficathon. Thanks to everyone who participated in this little experiment. If everyone posts stories, it looks like it'll be a great success.

All of the quotes that people were assigned to write about came from board members’ signatures. So if something looks a little familiar, you now know why. ;-) A big thanks to neps for combing the membership to get a list of quotes for us.

And without further ado – here is the list of participants and the quotes they are working from.

Fantine: We've All Got Our Problems

Michael: "Devon, I've got a problem."
Devon:"Oh, don't be so modest, my dear boy. You have a wide range of problems."

From Cloudkitt’s signature.

Mike Pajaro: The Nut Behind the Wheel

Bonnie: Now there's only one thing wrong with this car!
Micheal: I know, I know.
Both: The nut behind the wheel.

From r.j.1984’s signature.

TurbomanKnight:

KITT - "Michael, our odds of getting out of the desert are.....wait.....My odds calculator just malfunctioned!"

From knightcrusader99’s signature.

TashaKnight:

"Keep your eyes on the rear view mirror, we've been flashing you for miles."

From sarfraz’s signature.

Knight224: Trust Doesn't Rust

"I am the Knight Automated Roving Robot; K.A.R.R if you prefer. I am the prototype of the car of the future!"

From midniterider’s signature.

knightrider2004: Danger of the Knight

Michael: You mean this car can just take off? Go for gas or a carwash?
Devon: Yes! It`s terrific isn`t it?
Michael: Well that`s just great if I happen to be working under it!

From Maestro’s signature.

knightshade: Love and War

KITT- Take heart RC I am sure with a little work your motorbike will be on the road again.
Michael - Yep a little bit on this road and a little bit that road and maybe this little bit on a road far away!

From Benjamin Knight’s signature.

gumnut: Survival

"If I am destroyed, so shall you be..."

From KITTvsKARR’s journal.

---------

So there you have it – be on the lookout for threads with the above stories today. As people get their stories posted, I’ll update this post with links and story titles, but in the meantime keep an eye out for them. Have fun reading and please consider giving feedback.

(Authors, you can go ahead and post your stories now -- each in its own individual topic, with a subject that includes 'Ficathon Entry.' Also please put your quote at the top of the story.)

Thanks.

That's a clever way to pick the quotes. My story is "done" in the sense that it has a beginning, middle, and an end... I'm just tweaking things here and there. Funny how a story sounds great in your head and then when you write it down and read it, it doesn't flow as smoothly anymore. I'll post it soon.
