Well, we've known about the supposed cameo for awhile now.

Its been mentioned a few times already here, such as http://knightrideronline.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=5212

Whether its true, I guess we wait and see. :)

yes. it's been everywhere from MTV online to Your Movie. what led me to believe this is, when i was searching for hasselhoff news, "david hasselhoff in spongebob movie" came up with the link being nick.com, which is the company that is doing the spongebob movie.

Well if it's just a cameo, he wouldn't be listed at all.

Guess no one will know until the movie comes out. Personally I'm not shelling out $6 per person to take my kids to the movie just for a 30 sec (if even that) cameo by David. It would be different if he had a starring role tho.

Then they can wait for the DVD to be released. :) Sooner or later it will be an then they can watch it until it wears out for one price.

I don't pay for movies often. What starts out as 'family entertainment' ends up costing the ammount of a car payment.

I could think of better things to spend money on.. like new school clothes maybe?

I don't like Sponge Bob anyway - however if David was going to have a major role in the movie I would still wait until it came out on DVD before I would watch it. But thats just me and to each his/her own.

But he's not going to have a major role it seems. There are alot of cameos and only so many minutes a child will sit still for a movie. I'd have to agree I don't think I could sit through that if it was only a 30 second cameo. That's probably just like it is, similar to his Dodgeball cameo in length.

That just afferms it - I am not going to watch it. Because Sponge Bob sucks - in my opinion.

I'm not a SpongeBob fan either. I don't get cable to see it but I see stuff in the store with SpongeBob on it and well... not my cup of tea. :) I'm more a Simpsons, South Park or Futurama type...

Simpsons - o.k.
furturama - not to bad
Southpark - not even fit for the dogs - in my opinion.
Knight Rider - The absolute best!!!!!!!

When I used to watch a lot of Tv, SpongeBob used to be one of the preffered choices of entertainment. Now, tv isnt all that fasinating. Spongebob is so annoying with his long @$$ laughs. My friend told me the other day that some kid drowned looking for Spongebob.

BTW, Trekie386 does you children ever beg you to go to the movies?

I think David Hasselhoff's cameo was the funniest part of the whole movie, because he poked fun at himself from his "Baywatch" days.
I sure also welcome any time he pokes fun at his own, well, overexposure from that show, too, despite the show being pretty good, I think.
Just my opinion......

It's unfortunate that many actors have to poke fun at themselves nowadays. There are many newer talentless people in the world that shouldn't even be where they're at in the first place that don't even poke fun at themselves.

i've never watched the movie, but at work we had the movie on display so needless 2 say i watch 4 whenever david's in it. plus i dl'ed the scenes with him on my comp.
basically sponge n the pink guy are all scared n they ask "who are u?" "im david hasselhoff" (all proud) "hurray! can u take us ---- on ur boat?" "boat?? -gives a big laugh-" starts swimming with them on his back. then later it looks like hes got a propellor, cuz hes speeding along the water, but not even moving. then he "shoots" them 2 miles away by putting them between his chest n squeezing them out.
i was a lil ......... speechless after i saw this.

Hey guys I have 4 yr. old twin boys and tey loved the spongebob movie. It is out on video, but I'm saving that for Easter. I have them hooked on KR now too. So when they get the movie they will remember David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight with KITT. My11 yr. old daughter is hooked on KR to and spongebob. What exactly is it you all want to know about David in the movie anyway? It's defenitly longer than a 30 second clip. After all he helps them back to save bikini bottom. 8) 8) :D :D
