I was thinking the other night why not put pants on my head? *Cough* I mean what if Kitt had kids? Yeah, he can't... or can he? Think about it, Kitt is a PROGRAM. A program that lives in the body of a car. He's even lived in a TV before. Wasn't happy about it, but he did. So, if he can live with out his body then could it be posible for him to rewrite, or create a coppy sort of thingy of him self? Then what though?... He would have to put it some where... and the foundation would probibly not alow such a thing. And Kitt is a guy...
Well, call me crazy, but if any one can pull it off believibly I'll be impressed. Hmmm... maybe I'll try it my self.

Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if he thought about it. But if you want a good example of such a program doing so, I recommend the Anime, "Ghost in the Shell".

It has been done in a few fan fic, by creating sci-fi methods. Otherwise, he can clone himself, he can pull what Data tried to do in Star Trek: The Next Generation, but when it comes down to it, it would take some of the magic away from KITT, and Knight Rider was not that kind of show.

Yeah I remember that ep of ST:TNG. Although he might not be able to tamper with his own programming, theoretically, KITT should be able to programme another AI like himself, maybe one superior to himself. Or would that be a breach of something?

Then again, KITT was designed to serve and protect. Unless creating another AI was the only way he could save MK, it would be unlikely that KITT would do so. He took pride in being "one-of-a-kind". Maybe it should stay that way.

Hay... I'm working on a way to make it seem posible with out taking away from Kitt's character. And I'll say It all stems from the movie Dances with Wolves and to much ANIME! I'll posibly even post it some day... maybe.

I once read a story where... well... madness abounded. It was of two charactors from Gundam Wing (Duo and Heero) and it was bizar. It was called Heero's puppies. Heero has puppies, one looks like Duo... nuts!
But ever sence then I wanted to do a story like it called...

I'm knowing that it's a little heartbreaking to see such fun made out of Knight Rider, but to each their own, I suppose.
