This was in the other thread, he was talking about watching the actual show to compare KARRs bumper lights to the game:

As far as I know, KITT and KARR had 3 sets of bumper lights in the 1st Season, but then KITT changed to only 2 sets sometime later. Since the game is tailored towards the 4th Season with SPM, I would've thought they would go with just 2 sets, but it seems that most people with conversions install 3 sets, and he probably looks better with 3...

This issue kind of got buried in the other thread, but it would be kind of interesting to find out about if the creators or Neil could shed some light...

Ah nice, thank you for clearing the 2 set and 3 set headlights subject.
PS.I forgot to mention it as a set that's why I said 6 (meaning the 3 set).

even if you are able to order the game from amazon.co.uk (which you should be able to) the game WILL NOT WORK on your PS2! They are encoded for Europe and european disks ARE NOT PLAYABLE on american systems. PLUS the TVs in europe are PAL signal and the tvs in america are NTSC, which basically means even if you could get the disk to work the signal to the TV would be all messed up.

It's not worth the effort.

here is a new image for ya'll. It's from the beta work in progress. I haven't gotten one from Davilex yet, so hopefully you'll get the idea from this one.

Now that I've seen it, VERY frightening!

Reminds me of Demolition Derby, if anyone has played that game!

You wanted to see it, Neil went out and got it for you. The least you could do is thank him for it, Justin.

I agree!

Thank you, Neil. I've wanted to see the 'SCARY' screenshot of KITT getting turned over and you delivered.

Thank you!

Those are some good questions which would be better answered by Davilex thread. I believe the Australia date is mentioned on the end of page 4.

I got flipped over by doing a turbo boost over a landmind while it exploded. One point that happened and I actually flipped 360 degrees around to the side landing on the wheels, it was very cool. When I did get stuck on my back, in a few second KITT was right side up and back on the track, they have a system that detects when your stuck and resets you back on the track.

at least thats how it is in the beta. could be totally different now.

hm...that reminds me of NFS. Well, having Michael coming out of the car and lifting KITT ehm... that would be kinda difficult (maybe using a tow truck?).
PS. Nice pic

Perhaps they could use the auto roofs. All it would take is for one to be opened at high speed to propell Kitt off his roof and back onto his wheels. At least then its more realistic than Kitt just being put back on his wheels. Just a thought anyway.

hm...I got a bit confused but...wouldn't that mean that Michael's head would be used as a spring?
(KITT falls upside down, Auto Roof L, eject, *Michael Boing!*, KITT is back on 4 wheels)

ROFLMAO. Could be fun to use Michaels head as a spring. I more was thinking that he would be securely fastened in by the Passive Laser Restraint System, and the roof would open up with alot of power behind it, thus flipping Kitt back onto his wheels.

Well, seriously now, some kind of pressurized air from right seat (so that poor michael doesn't become the spring ) to push KITT from inverted to normal?
Or somehow in the way the roof slides open?

I was more thinking along the lines of when the Autoroofs went upright in the earlier seasons, rather than the sliding ones. However if Garth were in the passenger seat i would have no problem with ejecting him whilst upside down.

Ah, I had forgotten how they used to open in the old seasons...Yeah, that could be a way.

Well i'm sure of one thing, if i could think of it, then a game designer could. Eitherway the Autoroof thing might be hard to put in the game anyway, so Kitt will probably just be put back on his wheels like alot of the other games out there.

whoaa..that makes me think that i've NEVER noticed the difference between the two sunroofs, with the way they opened, as the seasons progressed.

it just didn't click with me how it went from flipping upwards to sliding backwards. btw, wasn't it rather fast with the way the sunroof slid backward? sunroofs don't open that quick!

I remember that Justin...I watched that episode last night in fact.

Actually I was a little confused as to why Michael just didn't push the car back over...it was on it's side, and with the angle of the body molding, one would've thought that might be a more simple task then it looked like. Hmm. I guess it was the effect that made it seem cooler doing it that way.
