PLEASE SIGN PETITION FOR GLEN LARSON KNIGHT RIDER MOVIE

I know there's been some excitement over the new TV movie, but I just noticed there still aren't many signatures on the petition for Glen Larson's Knight Rider movie. It's under 200.

PLEASE sign this if you haven't already. The reason for the petition is to show Mr. Larson how many people would support a movie "in his vision and his inspiration, reformatted and updated for our modern age."

I'm just fearful that Mr. Larson may not pursue this if he doesn't think there's much interest. He's also 71, so who know how long we'll have before he decides to retire. This is our only chance to have anything like this from the original creator.

I'd encourage everyone to sign this. The Movie will move separately and independently from the TV Show so it would be great to live in a world with two Knight Rider projects!

My only hesitation is I really don't think I've ever seen an online petition actually do anything? I think communities are more of a sign of what people want, and I would argue we should probably write letters to the Weinstein company showing our support of the project.

From what we've seen Glen seems pretty on board, we just need to make sure the Studio supporting him realizes that we're here behind him.

i signed that petition a long time ago. honestly though if weinstein company and glen larson cant figure out how popular knight rider is and how much fans want to see it especially after how well the tv pilot did in the ratings than they must be stupid. we have been waiting years for the feature film to go into production, and the air date keeps getting pushed back. now we have to wait till 2010, frankly i'm pissed and dissapointed, weinstein should have approved larsons original script 100% the first time it was presented to them. i blame the weinstein company for this new delay. enough is enough.

I just signed the petition. It's a relatively effortless thing to do and only takes a minute or so. Every fan should be signing this, especially those who were less than thrilled about the NBC production. Either way, the more Knight Rider the better!

I've just signed, others might as well too. Maybe it wont help that much but it is proof that there is a demand. The relative success of the NBC movie also shows that and if it goes to a series it shows that point even more.
Us fans having been waiting for a Knight Rider Project for so long now and now we have two, we and the Weinstein company shouldn't let it go.

The basic premise alone, One man and his supercar shows that it should be made. Today/Tommorows supercar technology on a Big screen budget. It's something that can easily be written/updated for todays audience and there (imho) is no excuse why it shouldn't become a reality.

- Sorry for the inconvience. I extended the expiration date so it should be back up. Please refrain from posting "We want David Hassellhoff back" and "Use the 82 Trans Am" because honestly it's just not an option for the motion picture despite how many people protest it.

Ive also signed the online petition, however last year I made a petition to gauge interest in Knight Rider & just in the space of four hours I collected over a hundred signatures in favor of a Knight Rider return.
I you would care to I could sent a copy of that to you because if Glen or the potential film's producers
could see the reaction from the public, they would know that the interest is there.
If anyone can bring something of quality to the silver screen & give the world a fresh perspective
on Knight Rider it is Glen Larson.
He doesnt owe us this movie but we will be all the poorer for it if he declines, its my belief the fans will let him know
that he wont be sorry for taking KITT out for another ride.

Just as an FYI, I signed the petition a while back. I hope you have MANY people signing it. I am all for the Glen Larson new Knight Rider movie, and hope it gets to the Big Screen soon ! This new Knight Rider made for TV Movie was a big disappointment for me, and I know Glen will do much better with his new upcoming movie.

I am very curious as to why we must sign this? I did sign it a while ago, ill sign it again but i mean why does Glen Larson have to see an online petition to gauge if theres enough interest in starting/completing the movie? He knows that people want it and no online petition is going to show that massive amount of people. people have been begging for years and i just dont see why we should "have" to sign an online petition seems redundant and also gives me false hope of the movie as if Glen doesnt see enough electronic signatures he will suddenyl just drop what ever hes doing with the movie and say forget everyone.

Well of course I did sign it and of course I'll tell my friends, but to be honest, are there really that many online fans who would sign it? I mean, maybe over time, but before 2010?

I'll see if I can get the local paper to put an article in about it. Maybe that will assist with at least twenty. I'll be content if we get 1000 signatures.

When I put up the petition originally it was last year. I didn't have an understanding yet of the fanbase limitations. As a worldwide cult following, I assumed 5000 signatures wouldn't be a problem. I actually expected more from people then they could deliver I guess.

Although it doesn't help that the petition also asks people for their detailed information but of the petitions out there, this was the easiest one to manage.

I also let it expire, but was asked to open it back up due to people still wanting to continue to sign it, so really at this point the 5000 is a placeholder to keep it open at the moment. If you've already signed it, thanks. Please remember this is a WE SUPPORT THE MOVIE petition, if anyone starts posting negative comments on there, I will and have deleted them.
