i can picture the 21st century version having a bunch of LCD computer monitors and one main plasma TV that could show satellite TV or photos of bad guys or something of that nature. Why did I suddenly get the image in my head of Michael sitting in front of a giant plasma TV playing video games? 8)

A blog is basically an online journal. There are sites out there that host them and there is software to make it fairly easy to update with text, links, and images.

No, no, sorry. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be included in the DVDs. I'm just saying I think that some of the cuts actually made the episodes better. But I agree with you that everything should be included.

I'm really sorry to hear that Rusti.

I won't be on AIM for a while (I have to get this ficathon off the ground first) but if you want to talk, send me an email. I might like a Kitt turbo boosting over Karr or vice versa -- I think we talked about that a while back when you were looking for ideas.

I think it would be fabulous if Ridley Scott directed KR, because I would love to see it given a serious, dark tone. But I don't see that happening. I'm not sure it would be an overall crowd pleaser that way either, since I think a lot of people would go to see it for the 80's nostalgia factor. But ...

Anyone name their cars?

What can I say, I'm feeling chatty today. So does anyone else name their cars? And by that I mean give them an actual name that other people hear you use. My car's name is Slippers because the official name of the paint color is Ruby Red. And cars, among their other duties of course, take you...

Sometimes Cutting Is Good??

I know, everyone's going to scream sacrilege here but I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed scenes that have been cut out of the syndicated airings of KR that are actually better left out? I didn't see White Bird when it first aired, so until the DVDs came out, I'd only ever seen the cut version....

Well, okay they're just trying to teach a computer to read, but it's a first step. And an interesting article about the state of AI research right now. I find it interesting, because eccentric billionaire aside, it seems most likely that if we ever were to develope true AI, it would be the military ...
