Re: Live Discussion - Knight to King's Pawn

I'm going to try to make some sense of this KARR so bear with me. The way I figure it, the original KITT and KARR existed in this series. KITT is the more compliant (said so in this ep) of the two. From a miltary point of view, it would have made more sense to use the original KARR as the basis for ...

Re: KRO mentioned on SEIBERTRON.com, "KITT Must Die!" Article

God grief those were odd days. "Prime is a truck not a monkey" arguments were abound. Ignoring the fact that Beast Wars was a very worthy succesor to the original Transformers and did more to grow the mythology than the haters will accept. Beast machine was even worse, Goldbug will probabl...

Um, did I miss it somewhere but what were the ratings like for this episode? Are we back on the way up?

Re: finally an nbc commercial

...that, is the 64 million dollar question?!

I don't think we have enough information yet to say one way or the other is this is indeed the original KARR. Whichever it is, it will certainly be an entertaining battle to watch.

How regular are the NBC KR08 commercials?

Re: 2010 Shelby Mustang GT

I quite liked the GT version of the 2010 car but not so keen on the GT500 spec. http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/shelbygt500press/1005625243" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; From that particular shot, I think some of the styling has gone too European for my liking. I much pre...

Re: Supporting the series / Supporting the franchise

If I remember correctly, Michael Bay said that he had a hate mob gather outside his office. Funny thing was, it was his old office  I'm sure the Star trek movie will experience similar levels of fan hatred. Its not hardcore fans, more fundamentalist, ie things have to be done a certain way or n...

Re: Supporting the series / Supporting the franchise

I was worried that the KR board would divide itself with KR08 but I didn't think it would get to the stage it has where newcomers and regulars alike would take such pleasure out of ridiculing the new series. I'm sure this is all very familar to fans of Transformers and the new film. Such comments as...

Re: Knight to King's Pawn: Episode 12 Officially

Getting Peter Cullen onboard is a major coup for the series. I'm quite surprised that the voice of Optimus Prime in a paramount film will be contributing to a Universal TV show. I know Peter does alot of voice acting so I suspect his contract allows for this flexibility. Excellent christmas news, ca...

I know what you mean Goldbug. I had the same thought as a kid as aswell. Robot just fires up thoughts of....well walking talking robots of which Saturday morning 80's TV had an abundance of!! I did as a kid make a distinction that KITT was a computer first in a car and didn't trigger a thought that ...

Re: How many users with their own website?

Something like that. An app that shows the date till the next show and a count down would be ideal. Populating something like facebook would work with people who don't necessarily know much about Knight Rider and come across it on someones profile page.

Well done Sue. Lets see what the reboot brings us as everyone is pinning hopes on it to get us a season 2 :good:

I think what GST meant by that letter comment is that yes the show is not cancelled but we are not out of the woods yet.

Re: Knight Rider Season Reduced - from 22 to 17

Well said. Ultimately I think the revamp will be the tipping point of the series. If they take everything onboard and make the correct changes it should do well. However, I do think NBC needs to promote the show considering its month long vacation. Personally, I am really enjoying the showing but al...

KI3T pen sketch

I am deep into a very large canvas painting of the old and new KITT. Its only about 40% complete but the other day on the back of my work notepad I started sketching KI3T for the first time properly in pen. Took about an hour in total but I thought it was good enough to share: http://i54.photobucket...

Re: Anyone got the new Aoshima KITT?

I have purchased one from hlj.com. Price was very reasonable all those months ago but I doubt you'll see the same deal with the current exchange rates. Its still in its packaging but I have had a look at some of the parts. The mould detailing is exceptional and far beyond the original ERTL release. ...

Did anyone else think we would get a car chase once the Zodiac crew got into three vehicles at the end? No such luck! Although I am enjoying this series somethings are starting to annoy me. Where's the stunts, car chases and is it just me or is this show turning into Baywatch! We are grateful just t...

Re: Why new KR may never be aired in the UK . . .

Its a fine line balancing act and I do not really know what the deciding factors are. I have noticed with some of US import shows which air on UK commercial TV (not even the BBC) that logo's are blurred. A good example is the USA Pop Idol show. The judges all drink from Coke Cola glasses, but they a...
