Re: Live Discussion - Knight to King's Pawn

Total Let Down. - For all that hype, we got maybe 5 minutes worth of KARR on Screen? - No KARR theme music, even an updated version of it. - Felt like it should have been a two parter somehow. - Too much time focused on techno babble between Zoey and Billy. - How about a little back story on KARR hi...

Re: The Character no one cared about...

lunch meat: It's the same reason that all the T and A scenes in the new show bother me. Knight Rider is supposed to be family friendly and a fun action adventure ride. As far as the introduction of carrie goes, it came off to me as prime executive thinking to..... Either trying to introduce a new au...

The Character no one cared about...

Am I the only one who doesn't care about Carrie (sp?)? In the original pilot, she was introduced as a Lesbian...and the first thing that sprang to my mind was, 'Instant addition to the cast to attract a certain demographic, or to be PC...' They lost me with her after that as the whole notion just se...

Re: Sorry to bring bad news

Sadly, TV Executives have been spoiled by reality shows and series like Survivor. If it doesn't get 10,000,000 eyes watching it right off the bat, and keep up that pace, anything under that is considered a dismal failure. Hard to believe TV was actually classier back in the 80's and 90's :).. Syndic...

Re: Sorry to bring bad news

Assuming this guy is the real deal as far as the 'informant' goes, this could be one of two things: Viral Marketing, where something that is supposedly' secret' gets 'leaked' to the fans and the fans spread the news. I hate viral marketing :). Some guy who is a janitor, or someone who visited the se...

NY Comic Con

Anyone know if Knight Rider will shine on NY with their presence, or will they totally ignore us for the San D Comic Con later in the year? :)

Re: The Knight Rider 2008 Constructive Criticism Thread

What about this: Could they have a 'fan input board?' Even if Season 2 takes a bit longer....Why not use the online Knight Research website as a giant polling center? A sort of, 'What would YOU like the show to be in Season 2?' They could also do a convention in CA and NYC to help gauge public opini...

Re: Happy Birthday Patricia McPherson!!!

Wow, she still looks great :). She must belong to that same clan that Dick Clark and Pat Sajak does. They never age no matter how long they stay around :).. Oh, and happy birthday, of course :)... What are the chances she will appear on the new show? She was ignored with KR2000....and lets not bring...

Re: Nielsons for Knight of the Zodiac

You know what I would like to see? A new Intro, and a new theme song for the 'reboot.'. I picture it starting off with one long tracking shot in the desert. Old Kitt drives toward camera with the Hoff at the wheel, side shot of old KITT with the Hoff driving, wiping to new KITT with the new Michael ...

Re: Is Sponsorship part of what's killing this show?

Regarding the stunts: Does anyone think we'll see more old School Setups of the Turbo Boost, only done a tad more dramatically? They can edit out the ramp now, and the Mustang at least looks more durable than the KI2T Hero car was, as far as smashing into things or landings... For instance, I notice...

Re: Is Sponsorship part of what's killing this show?

Hello Hello, My Bad. Been online since 93 and I still make simple mistakes. Mods, feel free to move if it hasn't been already :). Regarding your points - Ahh, OK. I thought it was the other way around. It makes a bit more sense that GM wouldn't have wanted him to be KITTs new voice. As a kid, and a ...

Is Sponsorship part of what's killing this show?

I know this ain't an old topic.....but hear me out on this one. First: Almost every car that gets driven is a shiny new Ford. Second: Ford apparently has the right to Veto casting decisions (Re:Voice of KITT) Third: Ford most likely would not allow a competitor car on the show (KI2T) Fourth: Logo's ...
