You could say it was "inspired" by the BH Cop theme but that's as far as it goes. It's not a cover because it doesn't follow the same notes.

Apparently David did write a good script for KR 2000, so who knows what he can do for the film. But getting Cowell for the voice? Er, no! That would have "spoof" written all over it. If he ever gets the rights then he needs to take it seriously, not make it a joke!

With the way things are progressing right now, I doubt the film ever gets made so I think this is futile.

KITT is meant to have that "just another car" look. The one above doesn't have that look. It needs to look sporty but not over the top. None of the cars in this thread have nailed it, IMO. The Camaro is probably the best choice that I can think of.

Most of the time it is seen, it appears "blank."

Joe, I know it's still early in development but do you have any idea if foreign customers will be able to purchase the book?

That's Gary Hunter's KITT car replica that stars in the advert and the car was spot on when I saw it at KRF II. To call it one of the worst replicas "around" is way off base! Perhaps one of the most accurate, like many others are. Want to see one of the most inaccurate KITT "replicas?...

And yet David wonders why he's not taken seriously..... This may sound harsh but I think it's embarrassing watching him do these things. He went from being respectable, even down to earth, when doing Knight Rider and when starring in Baywatch and he started his music tours, that's when things changed.
