Sadly, I don't think it takes too many people to crash a Geocities site. I'm thinking of doing the upgrade where you pay for your own domain, but I dunno.... Overall, it's a pain in the neck, but I'm glad to get some feedback on it. That original KITT pic was taken on the tram. At the time, I couldn...

Universal KITT Pics

Hey all. Well, it took me dang near forever, but I got some pics up of the KITT from Universal Studios, as well as an added bonus pic. :D These are the best pics I could find, and the only pics I got of the dash. Enjoy! http://www.geocities.com/maverick776/pages/kitt.html Give it awhile if you canno...

About the Sunfires....

Is it me, or when you look at the new models from the front, doesn't it look extremely ticked off? Like you're afraid to cut it off and end up a burning hunk of metal?

Sorry....random thought.......

Those wheels are on Dodge Stealths, which was the original body base for the K4000. Those wheels were either: A) put back on the original K4000 (for reasons why?!), B) on another Stealth that they converted, or C) they just didn't care what wheels they used! If anyone has those pics showing the buil...

What was funny is that "Eleanor" is the only movie car that was ever picked up for production. She is in limited quantity, but I find it pretty funny. Course, KITT couldn't be picked up for manufacturer production because half of what is on that car is considered illegal in most states. Un...

1960 Cobras are nice....I'd prefer this car tho....

And they are selling these cars!!!! It says $150,000 investment, so I'm not sure if that's the actual price of the car.......

Not to veer off-topic too much here, but every since the Viper came out, yeah its a great car, but when you hear and see so much about them, I guess the only thing left is to actually get behind the wheel of one in order to re-new the experience of "Wow! It's a Viper." Lately, when I see i...

My first pick is KARR, from any one of the shows. I personally thought he was more twisted and sinister in KvK, so if I had to I would choose that version. Second pick: Thunderbird drones. You could cause some serious damage with those things, and the best of all is that no one could get hurt! Anoth...

The Aztek is getting canned in '04, from what I heard. I have to admit, I find myself strangely attracted to that car, but it's like as soon as I stare at it more, that thing was over-designed and made to look too futuristic. It does suck and blow that the F-body has gone away, but there's an articl...

Hmmmmmmmmmm.............. If one of you don't mind, I'd like to "pilfer" one of those pics and see what I can do with it in Photoshop to make it a full black ride. I'm pretty sure someone has done it, but this way half of the work is already done for me! :P Is it me, or does it look like s...

Go to the above-mentioned website for Scare Tactics and watch the preview for the next episode. They show KIFT repainted and doing some crazy turns and what-not. Looks like the episode involves some poor sap with a "suicidal driver" that takes them into a wall. Man that show is great...

I got pics. These were taken back in '88 or so, and a few others were taken on my second trip to Universal when I was about 14 or 15, so that was in '94 I think.... Anyway, I have had a few people email me and ask to put those pics up, but due to recent life events, and the fact I'm a bit absent-min...

Streethawk followed the same principles as Airwolf, being that both did not have the A.I. that KITT possessed so they required a constant user.

I still say they could make KITT into a multi-purpose vehicle. Air, land and sea. Shoot, why not even make it where he's a low-atmosphere orbiter?!

I always thought a fighter-jet would be impressive, or a multi-role vehicle. Something that could have a harrier-jet capability, be sea-worthy (like the Knight 4000) and could also be used on the road.
I'm thinking versatility here....

The steering wheels are a possible legal issue in some states, though from what I've read over at the message boards in http://www.knightregistries.com, this law isn't generally enforced. But the law does state that you must have a full-round steering wheel within a certain diameter to be "lega...

The second one. Body looks pretty accurate, Marks Custom Kits has a service where they can convert a car into a T-top now, seats and interior are in there already.....all you would need is a new paint job, scanner, bumper, dash, lower & upper console, pods, re-spray the hubs, and blackout the ta...

This question was brought up awhile ago....I think we determined that standard gasoline in an engine such as KITTs wouldn't last. Considering that, in most modern aircraft your standard 89 octane would burn up as fast as you put it in. Now, we're talking about KITT here. If he can use standard gasol...

Turbo boost would have to be a lot more than just the propulsion system itself. There was that one cheesy music video floating around here that showed some of KITTs "landings" after he turbo-boosted. If you haven't seen it....well, it's bad. The front end of the car was pulverized by the c...

I'd say buy two: keep one sealed for collector's purposes, the other you take out, strip the center of the wheels and fill in gloss black.

Least that's what I'll be doing....

You would have to assume that KITT uses anything but regular gas. I mean come on, it's KITT!!! :P If I remember correctly, someone once told me that a turbine engine would just burn up automobile gas, and not use it for what it's worth. I would have to automatically assume that, since there has been...

Which job would you rather have?

Just a little sick and twisted here, but I'd be the criminal. However, I'd use this little guide to aid in my global domination: Dknightshade's Evil Legion list [img]images/s...
