Great that it's finally headed for the UK - AWFUL that it's only on Sci-Fi (or "SyFy" as it's going to end up as).

That's alienated a great percentage of potential viewership.

Still, if it does well, it'll hopefully go to DVD and I'll buy that instead.

I reckon audiences are pretty much down globally anyway. There are so any distractions these days, the web, games, computers etc. that to maintain a relatively steady viewership like KR did wasn't really that bad going... I'd love to see an something like an epi where they just drop it in WITHOUT any prior publicity and it's a complete surprise - KI3T arrives at a location on a different mission and in a car lot there is a silver Mustang parked up - that then transforms into KAR...

If we get S2 or more, then there's no way KARR can stay dead. He's too big a villain to be just dropped from teh series - my only hope would be that the next time we see him it will be a worthwhile storyline and not just a cynical tag on ending to an episode...

The one thing I keep thinking in all this is why haven't they said "it's cancelled" yet? If they weren't still mulling it over, they wouldn't be beating round the bush in the current climate I don't think.
