I hope they correct errors that they made in the original series like camera angles. How can KITT see something that is 200 or 300 yards away and get a camera view on his monitor that is up-close? Also in many episode KITT video taped people that are inside a building while KITT was outside. How co...

They are better off using the original body style for KITT. Think about it. If KITT is a new vette, you know the studio wont shell out tons of cash for multipe cars and we wont get any good stunts or things like that. You can grab up old firebirds and stuff for cheap. Use as many as you need to get...

I didn't really like that part of the episode, honestly. First off, why was Michael looking under the hood for turbine blades? The turbine blades are *inside* the engine, near the back. And why would broken turbine blades make the engine a ramjet? The compressor is at the front...though it is usuall...

Yeah, that was really messed up. There was that one seat, that somehow had KITT's real voice modulator and such behind a fake panel. The weird thing is, the position of that seat (assuming KITT was under the shell) would've been inside the engine bay. Also, where's the other seat? It was supposed to...

Killer KITT voice
Amazingly enough, I never managed to see this episode when I watched the series as a kid, I first saw it when I got the season 4 DVD collection. KITT's altered voice was really interesting...I'm not even sure if William Daniels was doing it. All the searching I've done hasn't shown anyone but him do...

I get the impression that KITT uses some sort of directional antenna or dish to do the microjamming. It's possible that he needs to channel all of the EM output into a tight beam in order to microjam, and that interferes with his ability to transmit otherwise, due to there only being one main antenn...

RC3 doesn't always drive it in season 4. I got the impression that he is a backup driver. I've seen shots where someone was driving the semi (and you could see a white arm), and then it cut to show RC3 in the back with the rest of them. I'd just say that in seasons 1, 2, and 3 (plus when it's not RC...

I used to think that most of the stuff from Knight Rider was ridiculous...to be honest, a lot of it is, and there's a lot of nonsense technobabble in the show. However, more and more of the fictional tech KITT used is showing up in real life. Turbojet engines are possible in cars (Chrysler has actua...

I was thinking about TDR, not KvsK, sorry... Oh no! Don't be! My mistake, I was refering to Kitt Vs. Karr but I somehow wrote Trust Doesn't Rust in parenthecies which is indeed wrong. The scene were Kitt and Karr jumps towards eachother is in Kitt Vs. Karr, so my mistake, but interesting HungarianK...

I remember seeing a Nightmare on Elm Street series at one point...the pilot episode of the series showed Freddy's trial and how he got off, and it showed the people that hunted him down and burned him. I just managed to find it on IMDB too, I knew I wasn't imagining things. Robert Englund did repris...

I'm sure that despite the fact that KITT was a futuristic car. The technology for CD players was still in the reseach and development stages at the time the first season was filmed. Even then, the disk would have to be the size of a 33 and a third record (they existed at the time). That's my point ...

This looks like the old info that IMDB had up about a year ago. All of that info has since been taken down...the ONLY cast member listed on IMDB now is David Hasselhoff. I personally think this movie is never going to see the light of day...however, as much as I'd like to see a new Knight Rider movi...

Speculation as to why KITT had a tape recorder
I've been thinking about why such a high-tech car would have a tape recorder instead of a CD player. There's a very valid reason. I think that most of the time when KITT needed to record or play back something, he used some type of internal storage (probably RAM or hard drives for more permanent stu...

If anything, I'd think the original screen used cars (if any remain) would have significantly LESS functionality than the replicas people are building today. Nothing inside the screen cars had to work, or even do anything at all...they could just cover it up with special effects. The only reason I c...
