Re: What will happen in the season final?
I hate them either way. Never quite got the point of a cliffhanger. I mean, if the show ends in a cliffhanger, I'm pissed off and feel unfulfilled as a viewer and there is no way I'm going to be as curious or excited a whole three months later; in fact, usually I barely remember the cliffhanger itse...

Re: Does KI3T still need.....gas?!?
Yeah, I remember the original KITT getting refueled a few times throughout the series, myself. Usually, the scene was accompanied by some smartass station owner trying to sabotage the car for extra fixups and failing miserably, for the laughs.

Re: MBS
I always thought the nanofix was supposed to be considerably faster than the human eye can catch (yes, even if we actually get to see the effect, when bullets hit). Otherwise, it's kind of a moot point. If KITT goes through multiple hits (say explosions) and the nanoskin doesn't repair itself fast e...

Re: What will happen in the season final?
No reason to get unfairly snippy, guys. "Series finale" was misleading- I'd certainly mislead me and I'm not American. It was the very *title*, it had to be fairly descriptive of the topic, after all.

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
It's not so much inconsistencies in the bonding, it's inconsistencies (small, mind you) in the interaction itself. I recall, the first time I noticed it was within "Knight of the Living Dead", when Mike was all supportive and "you'll be fine, buddy" to KITT at first and later he ...

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
I've complained about this before. Mike's caring toward KITT is fairly ambiguous or even inconsistent. I liked it that they didn't kick it off as fast as Michael and KITT did in TOS, but I was hoping we'd get a better-rounded relationship as a result.
I don't mind their current relationship, though.

And more people eat burgers three meals a day instead of a salad every now and then. It doesn't mean I can't laugh at their faces, when I'm playing football and they recover from that triple-bypass. Besides, that's the point. If people actually like that second-rate supernatural chick-flick, there i...

Re: We've interviewed Deanna Russo again!
There was no such indication, but I wouldn't find it hard to believe it was in one of his episodes. Having said that, the man does what he was hired to do. The audience that NBC seems oh-so-interested in getting with this show loves this sort of cheap jokes. As proved, once again, by my-not-so-favor...

Re: Would 'Knight In Shining Armor' been better mid-season?
I don't think it would necessarily be better off mid-season. You see, it's true that it threw everything our way in only a few minutes and it might have seemed too much for the audience to take in (or care to take in, for that matter), but I think the purpose behind this was exactly that; the series...

Re: The sideways turbo boost
I was hoping that little "inconvenience" from the pilot was removed. I'm not particularly fond of it. But that aside, KITT's a neural AI, which means he'll start thinking for himself at some point. It would be quite unwise -not to mention dangerous, to the point of idiocy- not to include a...

Re: The sideways turbo boost
I find it really hard to believe that there can't be manual activation of KITT's functions. Voice activation looks like the better option for this new age, but I'd find it ridiculously stupid on Graiman's part to not include a way for manual activation, should voice-activation not do the trick for t...

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
The chrome underside with the Knight Research logo is gone ! Although, it seems KITT's mad scream was enough of a distraction for most people not to notice that one of the most complained about parts of KITT's outer shell is has been removed. Unless this was an oversight, and KITT's chrome undersid...

Re: Ratings for "Knight and the City"
NBC hasn't been doing well for a while now. It's both the reason the show exists and the reason it's not canceled yet. They needed a ratings-winner, so they made Knight Rider. It didn't work out, but it didn't fail in comparison to their other shows either; let's just say it massively underperformed...

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
One thing I just realized though... In the opening, Mike talks about Sonny's Bar as the place where he and his "dad" shared their first beer, and Sarah mentions that this was where Mike's dad and his dad shared their first beer. Hang on a sec - isn't Mike's dad Michael Knight (aka the Hof...

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
In the very first episode KITT gets on fire and is brought back to SSC to extinguish it.In this episode it is equipped with full fledged Extinguishers(hard to believe). And what would you have him do in the first episode? Start pumping air from the headlights, when the entire chassis is set ablaze?...

Hey, no baseless generalizations. I'm not tired of them one bit. In fact, this time in particular, I found their banter working better than it has so far in the show.Seriously there isnt one person here who can say that they arent tired of seeing the "Billy & Zoey" show moments!

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
@ Knight4life: Goldbug's response concerning the comparison with the early episodes covered me. That's pretty much what I meant. The gun thing is a good point though. It did seem a bit odd. I personally chose to humor the notion, by telling myself that going into vacation and all, they hadn't restoc...

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City
this episode was very much like the first 9 episodes Your opinion on the episode itself is very much respected and all, but I can't quite see where you're coming from with this statement. If you want old-school Knight Rider, that was pretty damn close; the closest the new show has got to, I dare say.

Re: We've interviewed Deanna Russo again!
I can only think of one instance where I disagreed with the intention of a scene. They were going to have me under KITT's chassis, winding a nut until he'd shoot oil on my face by accident. I had two problems with this. First, the sexual innuendo was palpable and in my opinion tasteless, and second...

Re: Why was TKR disliked so much?
Well...so did the current show for the first few episodes...if I caught the references correctly. Don't take my word on it... but I think in the new show, the Foundation doesn't exist anymore- or something to that effect. It was Knight Industries, and especially the Knight Research department that ...
