Im sticking to my guns on this one. The movie car will either be the orig car OR a totally new design built for the movie. I cant see them associating with a current established car maker.

im 100% sure that in one episode KITT tells someone that he can run on any combustable substance, or something very similar. That would suggest that gas, deisel or anything similar would be just fine too.

In Conclusion, the ultimate KITT will be a Corvette. T/A's arent in production so that wont work out. I think the Corvette has perfect lines for a KITT car. IF and only IF they go with a new current model, I totally agree with you! But my best guess is that KITT will be the new Pontiac GTO or the n...

I mean think about it - they could really play with the whole 'What THIS heap of junk is supposed to help me?' idea. I mean, why would anyone think that a car over 20 years old would be able to smash through walls, jump over lorries and fire rockets!? Retro is VERY in at the moment.

My dad runs a plastic fabrication business. I'm gonna look into replacing the existing bumper with something a little less 'in your face', I may even be able to replace it with the tow bar used in the TV series. Oh and me being how I am, I had the lid off within about 10 mins. Its quite a basic layo...

J-Knight wrote:no, you can take the screws out of the front spoiler and just re-screw the top to the bottom. Do you get what I mean?
I found that the screws then traveled too far into the chassis and could end up damaging the internals.

Bought one about an hour back from Comet. Its fun for a quick wizz around the floor - will probably end up with it on my desk though, looks really smart! Word of advice - I tried taking the bumper off, looks better BUT the screws for the bumper hold the front of the chassis in place. I would wanna d...

Episodes question

Hi - my memory is going I sware! Ok 1st one - Anyone know why ep this is? KITT is in a car park parking space, Michael jumps in and reverses out into a HUGE burn out, hurtles up the car park only to have to stop due to an oncoming car. KITT quickly does a 'J' turn (reverse into 180) and speeds off.....

Please folks, lets keep it mind that this IS a TV show ;-)

They (the writers) needed a reason to get KITT into the crusher to show off KITTS abilities in that epsisode... its as simple as that.
