KI3T Interior: What if?

This might have been mentioned before. KI3T's current interior is black and red, in stark contrast to KI2T, who had a tan interior. I wouldn't mind seeing KI3T with the following upholstery... http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2010-ford-mustang-ab-la2008/1163876/" onclick="window.open(this.hr...

Re: The sideways turbo boost

Guys, there was a thread in here from quite a while back where people were complaining about the kickplate. There's a post (and I believe it was from one of the Masterkey folks, but I'd have to go look it up) stating that we'd see the underside of the car without the kickplate in a future episode. T...

Re: MBS

Doesn't make much sense to me, in the Karr fight without Kitts nanotech functional, how come he didn't sustain more damage? Surely its just a regular car without the nanoskin? unless its some kind of stronger shell he's made of that hasn't been explained. Didn't Sarah activate it just before the cr...

Re: The sideways turbo boost

From what we saw last week, it seems as though they're both going to have to watch out for each other.....in both senses of the phrase. If the show continues, I want an argument between KI3T and Mike about something like this. Some type of "that wasn't worse than the time when" argument. H...

KR08 Reruns

Can we look forward to seeing reruns of KR08 on NBC once the season is over? I doubt they'll put them in the same timeslot, but perhaps reruns on Saturday nights as they did before would work. I'm not holding out hope for this, but I'd love to be able to see the full season again (since it's not on ...

Re: The sideways turbo boost

I think the followup was the sideways flip to hard landing to tailslide... :-) But yeah, it's similar to the principle of flipping an SUV (or any vehicle with a high center of gravity) by making a sharp turn at a high speed. This is essentially what Mike did, except with thrusters added in, and I do...

Re: Does KI3T still need.....gas?!?

KI3T is probably still fueled mainly by solar power, as seen in the pilot episode. From what I understand, KI3T only stopped for gas because he'd been driving at a very high speed for a pretty long time, meaning that he was expending more energy than he was storing.

Could be wrong, though.

Re: The sideways turbo boost

Yeah, just watched it, it does sound more like Justin than KI3T. Maybe Mike was trying to play it off.... :P

Additionally, I didn't notice that KI3t said "not on a turn, Michael" before the boost.

Re: MBS

I always figured that the nanotech only took over in cases of extreme duress - say, being hit by really fast moving objects like bullets or taking a large impact like a car crash. KI3T, even without the nanorepair, is a pretty tough beast on his own. This is why KI3T could turbo boost though KARR su...

Re: The sideways turbo boost

The scream really seemed out of place but I must admit, it is pretty funny. The only problem I have is that it could imply that KI3T was afraid - when really, I don't think he would be. (Well, it's a possibility, but I doubt he'd be screaming even if he was terrified.) Although KI3T's general attitu...

Re: Letters of support to the cast/creators?

I don't know about addresses, but I'm sure that many of the actors are on Facebook. It's been stated that Deanna Russo has a Facebook account, so you might try sending her a message of support and thanks. Think Justin's on there as well.

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City

Boy seriously you people are easy to please and that's ok. I for one found this episode very lacking in several ways. It wasn't a "bad" episode as say the first 9 or so but it wasn't as spectacular as people make it out to be either. It was another step down from the previous episode. Dud...

Re: Live Discussion - Knight and the City

I LOVED this episode. I missed it last night because my work schedule has changed, so I didn't have access to a TV - but I just watched in on Hulu and I have to say that this is one of the most coherent Knight Rider plots I've seen. In fact, throughout the entire episode, I almost forgot that I was ...

For what it's worth, I like the concept. I do have some suggestions, however. I'm not going to bash you - this is entirely constructive criticism. You can take it as you see fit. The main thing - it seems as though you contradicted KARR's established character by having him easily and freely admit h...

Re: We've interviewed Deanna Russo again!

Much respect to Deanna Russo. I was critical of Sarah's character in a different thread, but Deanna has done an excellent job as an actor. Her interviews are intelligent and she seems to have a great sense of humor. I hope that she and her career will prosper...it will be cool to see more of her. Do...

Re: karrs scanner

My question is why they actually went out and made the yellow scanners for the new KARR when he was only in car-mode for maybe a minute out of the whole episode. Could have done it with CGI than spending $5000. Oh...maybe they knew they'd need them for when they bring KARR back for season 2! Did th...

Re: This show is designed to stick around

Think about it. KITT's slowly evolving AI, which is great due to the fact that this KITT was literally booted up before being officially completed; Mike Traceur's past is still in the shadows...we still have no clue as to why he and the other agent share the same tattoo; Charles Graiman's so called...

Marcus and Knight007 are both right - Michael wanted to help the officer and prevent more harm, while staying undercover and avoiding suspicion. His claim of being a DEA agent served both purposes.

What amazes us is how a car can jump and protect itself from bullets without any computer help, that's what brings in the money, that's what brings them viewers. Not 40 minutes of drving combined with CGI effects. Don't forget - everything that we're amazed by, all the stuff we see, it's all an ill...

Re: i was just wondering!

In any incarnation (hah, in-CAR-nation....ahah! ha ha har, ha....hum), Kitt would have to be an automatic. Given the technology that runs an automatic transmission, and given the technology that KI3T runs upon, it would only be logical to combine the two. KI3T's AI would control the software and har...

Wait, that isn't right. I forgot to multiply B by the coefficient beneath the radical.

Good to know that my "overlook" function is still as efficient as it was in 6th grade. ><
