^That was good, but I loved this exchange between them even more: Bonnie: Michael, you know all those times I've called you impulsive and irresponsible? I... I didn't mean it. Michael: Bonnie... you know all those times I've called you bossy and demanding? I didn't mean it either. KITT: Michael... B...

It all goes back to reasonable expectations. Here's an honest question I don't know the answer to: what other 80s shows have been given a really good DVD treatment? Are there any? (Besides Trek, natch). Knight Rider should be compared to those releases, and not shows from the 90s and today. The onl...

They'd also recycle graphics and still images used for KITT's monitor...how many times did KITT display the same darn floor plan when scanning a house? Not to mention the number of times KITT scanned stuff... one week it could be dirt, the next week an exotic poison, the week after that a wee...

I remember reading that the 30-minute versions were intended for when KR was broadcast for the first time over in the UK, but they also ended up being broadcast in the US. In my area (eastern Pennsylvania), not too long after KR went off the air, a local channel, WPHL-17 (independent back then; now ...

For one thing, if Garthe was really the big-time criminal they said he was, he probably would have been wanted for some activites in the U.S. as well as the stuff he went to prison for in Africa. Which just makes you wonder how Michael managed to go through at least four years as FLAG's field operat...

There's a pair of arrows at the top of each switchpod. Presumably, Michael would press the arrow corresponding to the column of buttons he wanted to use, which would then render all of those functions active, and the functions on the other half of the switchpod would be unavailable until Michael pre...

unfortunately, by the second season KITT wasnt even a Trans Am anymore. in fact, he wasnt even a Pontiac or GM car. the writers were asked by GM to STOP referring to the car as a Trans Am (which they did..may have been the third season however) due to an un-controllable amount of phone calls to the...

...Devon was 'Devon Shire'. As tongue-in-cheek and silly as Knight Rider could get, I don't know that I could have ever taken it seriously if Michael's boss was named Devon Shire. Makes you glad that the writers frequently see the wisdom of changing certain elements so the audience doesn't laugh th...

Well, I'd love for Kenner (now Hasbro) to bring back the talking version of the car. The talking KITT was... incredible. Wish I'd never tried to turbo boost it down the stairs. ;) Maybe a wristwatch that looks like Michael's comlink, and you can press a button to hear William Daniels' voice tell wha...

Favorite "guilty pleasure" episode?
Come on, we've all got one... an episode that isn't quite on the level of, say, "Soul Survivor" or "Junk Yard Dog," but you really get a kick out of watching it, you never miss it when they show it on TV, or you even have it taped so you can watch it whenever you want. My guilty ...

You betcha, I think Knight Rider is ridiculous. And that's part of its charm for me. I truly believe that everyone involved with the show knew that - on some level - they were working on a ridiculous show. And they embraced it with some tongue-in-cheek writing and a beautiful performance by Hasselh...

The difference can be summed up just by looking at how each of them was dressed in the opening credits, at least during the first two years. Bonnie: in a pair of white coveralls with the FLAG logo on the back. April: in a button-down shirt with the bottom tied up to expose her midriff. Now which do ...
