Re: The flaws of Knight rider! Answers please! Your thoughts!

Another potential flaw in the series. Does any else think at time Knight Rider was slightly sexist in the way women were protrayed? It isn't as bad as other shows of the time. I notice that many of the women characters are kind of bland damsal of the week types. Just an observation. Yeah... I felt ...

I just wandered over here to see if this was a really juicy confession...

But yeah, same here. I can't say I really hated the Mustang to start with... I was just like "huh"? But I like it now.

Re: Michaels shades?

They're called "aviator" style sunglasses because of the popularity amongst pilots (my dad is a retired pilot and he had some) but of course they've been worn by lots of people. You see them a lot on cops, too. Pretty much every brand of shades makes aviator style glasses... they are reall...

my gf would be so jealous of you riding a donkey. She loves donkies and always is saying she wants to ride on one. That's a mule, hon. 8) But your girlfriend has very good taste. For now I'm actually riding on road shoulders... it's interesting to actually go places using 1860 transportation. :mrgr...

Re: Post what you all drive!

Hey- who's bashing American Fords? I love their trucks. (obviously) I know lots of people who are still zipping around in Rangers with 200,000 + miles on them.
I do wish we'd get a diesel Ranger In the US, though. A diesel F150 would be neat, too.

Re: Post what you all drive!

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger flex-fuel. 4WD, of course... needed for snow country. I really wish I had an AC, though.
We got in a major wreck in fall of last year but the insurance was generous enough to pay for repairs.

It's from inertia- the gas slugs over so far from the maneuvers it just comes out the top.
Some of my road racing buddies swap out for fuel bladders (more like a sack) rather than tanks because they take turns at such speeds.

Re: Who drives the Knight Rider truck??

I saw a guy on "Ice Road Truckers" get up and mess with a cooler in the sleeper cab of his semi while it was driving on the highway, but I don't think that was auto pilot... just a long, straight road and a very trusting driver.

Re: top 10 things you should say to a cop

Jup- I would have PAID to see that thing with the Volkswagen. Too bad you didn't get it on film... I had no decent excuse for getting broadsided at 40mph in broad daylight, other than the other twit was going way too fast. Driving home after that was rather impressive, though. For the first ticket I...

Aren't lots of car parts assembled in Asia anyway? I doubt there's a car out there with 100% US components.

I'm glad someone else said there's not much of a visual difference between the Mustang and 08 Camaro, I thought I was off my rocker for thinking that.

I don't see how increasing the surface area of an object results in an increase in speed.
SPM doesn't even make it past elementary physics, for me, anyway.

Re: KARR.... Colossus?!?

(I don't really have an urge to go, either)

I'm not a theme park person in general. Come to think of it, I'd rather watch cowboy poker. (or play it myself, holy moly!) I prefer rodeos and races.

But that's neat that Paul did lots fo voice work, kind of sad that he wasn't credited very often.

I thought they were the other way around...? Didn't Paul Frees do the first one? Wikipedia says Paul Frees did Colossus (uncredited in the movie) but I didn't check imdb.com Paul Frees also did a lot of uncredited work. The Wiki article cites a lot of good sources so it appears to be accurate, but w...

KARR.... Colossus?!?

I poked around for bits of Colossus: The Forbin Project on Youtube and someone posted that the voice of Colossus (with some dubbing and tweaking) is Paul Frees, ala KARR in "Trust Doesn't Rust". This was later confirmed on other sites. Colossus: http://youtube.com/watch?v=W7Rq-PEW5qM&f...
