While I am a fan of the transformation, I agree that it should be used for more thematic and dramatic purposes than just to wow us for 10-30 seconds. "A Hard Day's Knight" felt like the closest we've come so far to KITT's attack mode serving a purpose as he chased the van.

I'd love to have the fates of the original crew addressed, but I think as a fan of the original KR I think that's assumed. :) One thing I really want to see are more practical stunts with KITT.
