True, but then we can be nitpicking both KITT's driving habits. I recall seeing many overhead shots in the original series where KI2T or Micheal just ignores the rules of the highway. Suffice to say, what actual harms is it doing if both KITT's are well within control and know that there are no cars...

KI3T also has all that fancy GPS stuff that was highlighted in the back door pilot (during the first chase scene with the SUV on its tail), so it can drive on an optimum path without endangering other road users. Look at it another way, KI3T knows where other vehicles are on the road within his prox...

I dunno. If I take that screen grab as it is, KI3T is perfectly placed to make the apex of the right hand turn coming up.

Ki2T did similar things during chase scenes as its the "racing line" through a corner.
