Remember, Ki3T's scanner only sounds like KARR's in the opening credits. It's Ki2T's scanner sound used in the show.

As a fan of both series, I can honestly say that I'm sure there are "fanatical" fans that are a bit over the top in their love for the shows, but that doesn't necessarily make them any better or worse than anybody else. I love Star Trek for what kind of society it represents, where humans...

I too feel as though the new scanner sound is a lot like KARR's. Heck, I have KARR's scanner noise as my text alert on my cell phone 8) At the end of the theme song it's clearly Karr's scanner that is heard. Sounds possable to me, in the movie "pilot" we saw KI2T's body in his garage.

I swear in the opening credits of last weeks show the scanner sound for KI3T sounded very similar to KARR. Was it just me or did anyone else notice this?

Has anyone else noticed anything(s) that are a"tip of the hat" to TOS?

I noticed it too, i think they are adding little things as a tip of the hat to the original (and to us die hard fans), the scanner sound, bar voice box. Can't wait to see what's next.

Oh the transform to truck mode.. ACK! it's awful, should lose it.
