KARR voice actors

In Trust Doesn't Rust, KARR is voiced by Peter Cullen (best known as Optimus Prime). However, it turns out that Paul Frees, the voice of KARR in KITT vs. KARR, was also the voice of Santa in that Frosty the Snowman cartoon that is played about 10,000 times during the Christmas season. That creates a...

Michael himself was a cop before he "died". The cops aren't always shown as bad guys...case in point: the episode where Michael lost his memory and reverted to Michael Long after an explosion, and he went back to his old police station. One of the officers or detectives knew what was going...

Or maybe Michael didn't think to say "KITT, scan that car to make sure the top layer of paint isn't fake!", or "KITT, look and see if the car we were chasing changed color!" It was an unexpected scenario. KITT is ultimately only going to do what he is instructed to do.

Absolutely loved the KR references. I remember they stuck one in Futurama too. Maybe the writers grew up with KR the way we did? what epi was it :?: It was "The Honking". I believe it was in season 2 of Futurama. To sum it up briefly...Bender gets a virus from a "were-car" that ...

It's funny, in Goliath, when Michael and Garthe are fighting...if you look closely (especially with Garthe gets tossed onto the ground), it's very obviously a stunt double. The stunt double they have playing Garthe in the fighting scenes doesn't look anything like David. If that type of scene were t...

I saw a couple episodes of X-files here and there, but I was never really a fan of the series. I had heard that Mitch Pileggi was in it, but I don't think I ever saw him...or if I did I don't remember it. However, I am a huge fan of Stargate...and it was kinda odd seeing actors that I am familiar wi...

Actors from Knight Rider 2000 in Stargate

I just decided to watch it again for the first time since it first came out. I just happened to notice *2* fairly major/recurring actors from Stargate in it. Mitch Pileggi is the main bad guy in the movie, he also plays Col. Caldwell in Atlantis (and probably sometimes SG-1, he's the commander of th...

I think it would've been neat if KARR had been a 2nd gen Trans Am ('70-'81, the model used in Smokey and the Bandit), since he was older. They could've added a KITT-like scanner to the front of him and everything. They probably didn't have the budget for it though, so they just filmed another KITT. ...

I have to agree, the Knight 4000 was ugly in every way. They didn't depict that car doing anything that KITT couldn't have done back in the series. In fact, the portrayal of the Knight 4000 made it seem LESS advanced than KITT was. It looked like a normal car on the inside, except for that "vir...

It was said that he caught the Chameleon "2 years ago", so that means it happened during season 1. His daughter remembered KITT and Michael. So it just happened "off camera" during season 1. For Stargate SG-1, someone actually tallied up all of the planets SG-1 supposedly explore...

Basically, KR2000 is not considered canon. Glen Larson was not involved in the production of it. It's good to the extent that it does have Michael, KITT, and Devon in it, but it doesn't really fit in the KR plotline at all, and the story is not KR material. Glen Larson actually was involved in TKR t...

If it skips and is unable to read the disk, the disk is bad. Defects like that are a lot more common on double sided DVD's than on single sided, because of the manufacturing process. Now, the PS2 is a little more sensitive to disk defects than "real" DVD players, but it shouldn't have any ...

Hm...carbon nanotubes are a nifty idea, but making spray-on armor for a car out of it isn't feasable with our current level of technology. A tech manual would be neat...however, most of the components were just technobabble that didn't make any sense. I don't consider KR 2000 to be "canon". It really wasn't a bad movie in and of itself, but it was not true to what Knight Rider was. If it had just been an "original" movie and not been called Knight Rider, it would've been good.

The voice modulator thing can be explained very easily. When KARR was built, there wasn't any rush. He was probably being built for the former FLAG agent that was killed (mentioned in Knight of the Drones). But KARR didn't work out, and then the agent was killed, so KARR decommissioned and the whole...

Bonnie Bartlett was also Arnold and Danny Devito's "mother" in Twins. I think there and SG-1 are the only times I've ever seen her. I've never seen William Daniels anywhere but Knight Rider (and that'd qualify more as "heard"). I looked through his list of movies on IMDB and I've...

That's good...taking a car like that and making it front wheel drive is moronic...it's like building the fastest computer you can, getting the best components you can, and hooking it up to an ancient VGA monitor that can only do 320x200.

I personally liked Peter Cullen's portrayal of KARR more than Paul Frees'. It sounded similar to his Optimus Prime voice, only evil. The season 3 opener mentions that Michael was not the first FLAG field agent. They mentioned that the first was killed by a convicted murderer, and it happened shortly...
