Excellent work as always, my friend :)

I gotta see if my little brother still has my Kenner car. I plan on remodeling my garage this summer and it would look nice displayed out there.

My car isn't worth the minimum 15 grand yet for Hagerty. Plus it's like $200 a year for Geico on the Pontiac. I figure that'll get me by till the car is done. It's not a daily driver so I imagine it will be out of harms way.

That really sucks. That's my greatest fear. If my T/A got totaled out I would probably get a check that would be enough for a video rental and a cup of coffee (Geico can't insure replica parts). If it happened with my Honda I might get something out of it, but I still owe about 7 grand on it. Really...

I thought the guy playing Michael was particulary good.

Most fan films stick a guy in a leather jacket and glasses and call it a Michael.

This guy actually could pass for him.

Better than some spoofs I've seen. It does switch to a third gen near the end, but during the driving I don't know what they are using.

I agree Joao's nose is great. At the time I got mine conversion rates and shipping put it into the price category of a Colie nose (which was my first choice if money was no option). I paid $800 out the door for my Louisell nose. That covered shipping and all the finish work and priming.

Firehawk first came out in 92.

I apologize for my "Knight Knazi" comment (I assume I'm the beligerant here).

I'll just stay out of these conversations.

If it's one thing I can't stand are "Knight Knazis" who criticize yet have no car of their own. Knightdriver, Newcastle, any one who's been around the conversion community for a while as well as myself see this all the time. Guess what? I SPENT the 14 grand (so far) on my car, so I imagine I can do ...

He's was also one of the bad guys in one of the Flint movies.

The Flint series was kind of a James Bond/Austin Powers spy spoof from the late 60s. Good stuff if you can find it.

I notice in Golaith when Michael tells KITT his turbine blades are shot he reaches into the engine bay and pulls out the carb cover plate.

I don't think turbines have carburators either :)

Robocop had a seral number but was totally unique as well. At the rate technology advances they may not have felt it neccessary. By the time Robo needed re-built (after a year of operation) he was already obsolete. Perhaps since KITT was constantly being improved they didn't need to worry about it. ...

That guy has always annoyed me. He has an annoying condescending car salesman vibe to him. He doesn't really seem to know alot about cars. He showed that quite well by addressing it as an 81. If you host is an idiot at least have a staff to do research on the car. My feelings on Louisell asside, the...

Is it a 305 or 191?

Looks good. Having a 92 made me really want a season 1/2 nose when I got the chance, because stock it looks too season 4-ish. I wanted the blackouts to add a little something different to it.

Do you plan on having the toneau top added or leave it as a ragtop?

I've oftened wondered about that myself. I always thought KARR should have been built into a Bandit T/A rather than an 82 like KITT, but it was cheaper to make him just like KITT. I imagine according to the novel that KARR was intended for a tank or other fighting vehicle. That would be kind of cool.

The novelization for Trust Doesn't Rust states that KARR was developed as a new war tool after Vietnam ended. However, as the 70s dragged on Wilton decided he was of more use at home. According to that novelization KARR was in developement for quite some time. Makes since that KITT went quicker as m...

I believe it states in one episode that he was originally designed for military applications, but it didn't really suit him. So that could be Washington DC where he was programmed.
