Re: shelby mustang 1:18 brand new

Modelzone sell them for £34.99. I would recommend just walking into your local Modelzone and asking them because they don't always have their entire stock on their website. Use their store locator and walk in: http://www.modelzone.co.uk/store_locator.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);re...

Re: UK Ratings

I found some info on last nights episode, see bottom of news article, but not much: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/a158003/ladette-to-lady-return-pulls-in-26m.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; " Sci Fi's Knight Rider was seen by 243k (1.35%) at 8pm, with an additiona...

Re: A Ray of Light Amongst the Darkness

It does feel like a bitter sweet moment. On one hand it seems that there is little chance of KR08 getting a season 2. On the other, the first two episodes airing in the UK to such a ratings success on a niche channel shows the franchise has a solid fanbase in this country. It will be interesting to ...

Re: Knight Rider number one on Sci-Fi

Don't quote me on this (lol) but I think I remember reading somewhere that all digital boxes can be monitored for specific ratings. And since that's the only way to get Sci-Fi they should be pretty accurate. Not sure if those recorded on Sky Plus, freeview/Virgin/freesat recordable boxes will be ta...

Re: UK members to get Knight Rider on Sci Fi.

Thoroughly enjoyed watched that on the larger Widescreen TV in the living room than the computer screen. The special effects seem less obvious already and thanks to 100Hz provided a much better viewing experience. Its strange as its been over a year since I last saw the pilot but it does seem seriou...

Re: Knight Rider number one on Sci-Fi

Does anyone know how they calculate the ratings for this? I'm just curious to see if its based on a selected pool of Sky boxes or are all Sky boxes viewing habits monitored?

Re: UK members to get Knight Rider on Sci Fi.

To be honest, we need to! Sci Fi channel isn't exactly the most popular or well known channels in the UK. However, we've seen it before with Heroes. It started off on Sci Fi then got purchased by BBC, which arguably is the most watched station in the UK. If Sci Fi gets promising numbers compared to ...

Re: UK members to get Knight Rider on Sci Fi.

Was watching ITV early this morning and up comes the Sky + adverts, as they invariably do. As some of you may have seen derivative of this ad, they have five blocks rotating on the screen, each block with a different segment of their channel selection. Usually they have football match bit from the S...

Well it won't air in the UK till May so that takes us out of the running.

I can't recall where exactly but it has started to air in some countries in Europe.

Re: An Update from Gary Scott Thompson

Interesting that Gary notes International support. The series is just starting to filter through to some areas of Europe. The UK, arguably one of the larger Knight Rider fanbases in Europe has had a decent amount of press news on radio, newspapers and even on some TV talk shows. Yet, we don't have t...

Re: Knight Rider 2008 Dutch (and international) coverage

Lets hope so. I recall a similar thing happened with Lost on Channel 4 and Heroes on BBC for that matter. Lost had started airing season 2 before season 1 aired in the UK. This allowed channel 4 to air Lost season 2 almost immediately after season 1. Both shows arrived late to the UK. Heroes was sho...

Re: Whats Mike's Jacket

Found out what it is! Its a M65 regiment jacket used by the US army. There are numerous on ebay/online and I've just been to Florida mall where a couple of the fashion labels have their take on the style.....and an added price tag! I've only seen it a few times on TV but it looks like a stonewashed ...

Well whatever the ratings, there were four of us from the UK in a hotel room in Orlando watching this ep. Pretty good though some disagreement over the machine guns started. I quite liked the retro Mustang but the DEA angle did not seem so solid!

Re: Live Discussion - Knight to King's Pawn

Ironically I don't think we have enough information to connect all the dots up yet. The pilot suggests that KI3T and KI2T are different entities. Different personalities and experiences would suggest this. KARR, we don't know enough about. Poor storytelling has left that open ended for us, unless th...

Re: Live Discussion - Knight to King's Pawn

I've just noticed something in the background that may add something to the "this is original KARR" theory. Go back and watch the scene as KARR transforms and starts to pull back the curtains. You can see on back screen (just behind his legs) a monitor with his original scanner working. No...
