I assure you, Patricia's group has been bringing in specialists on this for quite some time. What you see in the news report is only a tiny fraction of everything she is doing; this fight has been going on for a decade or so. Unfortunately, it really isn't a scientific battle. If it was, it would b...

IMO, too wide and too angular. Soften some of the outlines- KITT isn't all angles. He's got some curves. :D

Oh. My. Pants.

K.A.R.R. and the Pillsbury doughboy? The stuff of nightmares!!!

It just dawned on me- there's a petroleum geologist at the barn where I board my mule. I'm going to talk to him soon and see what he thinks- first I'm going to find some printable material.

Here's the whole story: http://www.nbc4.tv/video/4533247/index.html If you watch the whole story it's really sad and scary that these residents are subjected to these gasses and that people have to "fight" to get the city to do anythng about it. Go Patricia!!!! See, I took geology spring ...

KITT's jokes are probably over the heads of the losers that wrote that article.
And personally, I love sarcasm out of a vehicle... :D

Ooooh, I remember going into Hot Topic and noticing they had Dukes of Hazzard T-shirts (and a demented soul who announced that fact perhaps 13 times in a VERY LOUD voice) but no KR. I found that rather disappointing. Of course, I hardly ever set foot in HT anyway, but if they had KR shirts.. maybe...

I think Don Peake composed the theme along with most of the music for the show.
There's a TV show mix on iTunes, but the KR theme they have on there is not the original. Some sort of re-dub.

Knight Critters!

I saw the discussion on vehicles of KR and decided to start another thread... the animals on Knight Rider! Perhaps the most memorable for me was Kit the donkey, who was in that episode that involved a wine-making monestary. I suspect Kit might actually be a mule, as I own a mule myself. There was al...

Here's a bunch of info on the 82 Trans Am model and special editions. Not sure if the designer's name is in here or not, but a good read nonetheless. (the part about the frame's aerodynamics with the drag coefficient is pretty cool!)

I went thorough the Master Drive academy to get my license. The founder was a race car driver. Anyway, they taught us to do quick maneuvers (ie. swerve to avoid stuff) with our hands at 10 and 2. It is the most stable position for driving. I almost think the gull-wing would make for better driving h...

I mean think about it - they could really play with the whole 'What THIS heap of junk is supposed to help me?' idea. I mean, why would anyone think that a car over 20 years old would be able to smash through walls, jump over lorries and fire rockets!? Retro is VERY in at the moment. I agree with ke...
