Re: KARR's Self-Preservation programming.

I was thinking about this, KARR's self-preservation programming, and it occured to me at the time KARR was first built the self-preservation programming was correct. It turns out later on his self-preservation programming was wrong. Are you trying to say they had him just like KITT, but his program...

I can't think so. If they were going to do a fifth season, why would they write Bonnie out of the script? Unless Patricia McPherson wanted to quit and not come back. At the rate it was going in the fourth season, it was very obvious the plug was going to be pulled. Heck, Hasselhoff was wanting to le...

My guess is he probably was. That was only the first time KITT had ever been destroyed. So Michael thought nothing could stop him and penetrate the molecular bonded shell. But since Goliath had it and weighed tons more, it was able to take KITT right out. Michael thought they could probably just tak...

I always wondered what it would be like if the Knight Rider car went against the Wraith car. They both are black, do what no ordinary car can, and are completely indestructible (few exceptions for KITT). But Sheen's car doesn't talk. And Hasselhoff's car can't come back without a scratch. So if they...

Good idea! But the way Knight Rider 2000 acts, Michael left the Foundation in 1990 and spent the following ten years just out on the lake fishing. KITT was left in dustballs for a whole decade until Maddock had him dismantled. So the TV movie acts like nothing went on at all except four years after ...

You know what I think, none of the stories after the original series should have been made. Not even Knight Rider 2000. Knight Rider 2010 and Team Knight Rider never should have been thought up. But they still could have done a TV movie after the cancellation of the original series. It should not ha...

If I were to do my own Knight Rider story starting from scratch, I feel like using a cast of African-Americans: KNIGHT RIDER: THE MOVIE (PG-13) Starring Will Smith (Michael Knight), Samuel L. Jackson (Devon Miles), Morgan Freeman (Wilton Knight), Halle Berry (Bonnie Barstow), Orlando Jones (voice to...

The Gullwing Steering Wheel: Laws in all 50 States require steering wheels to be completely round, and if I remember correctly, it can be no less that 13 inches in diameter. That may be the way it is right now, but according to Industrial Technology textbooks, they may change the way it looks belie...

Yeah. I didn't even know the background story to Knight Rider when I was a young kid. Just knew it was something about a black car that could talk being driven by some curly haired guy named Michael. Had no idea that he was given an alternate face after a near tragic death.

Come to think of it, KITT did attract the cops a lot. I always wondered what people driving on the road thought when they saw a strange looking black car going down the street. Especially when it just goes out and does Super Pursuit mode.

From what I've read on websites, TKR does seem like just a Power Rangers version of KR. That was only screwing around with the good story from the 80's. I only watch the story where it is one man and one car. I saw Knight Rider 2000 just to see the story after the show was canceled. Wanted to see wh...

I think it would be awesome to have a 1982 Pontiac Trans-Am. That would represent my interest for KR. I am the same height as Michael and actually have that name myself. I look like a younger version of Hasselhoff from the last season since I got short brown hair. But my face looks more like Michael...

I've never seen "Scent of Roses," but it does seem rather sad and touchy based on the way everyone talks about it. I do know that Stevie gets killed and Michael feels like his life is actually falling apart. He thought he could finally give up on all the action and settle down to live a normal life....

Re: Knight Rider: The Movie Website

I mean David Duchovny as Michael? He's way to monotone for the happy-go-lucky Michael. And Angelina Jolie looks way to super modelish for the girl next door looks of Bonnie. And I think she'd do about as good of job playing the tech as Rebecca Holden did. I read this once long before I joined the b...

I think the 80's TV series is good enough as is. Something tells me that if they made a new TV show, it would not be that great and probably not even last. Well, I think the 1982 Trans-Am is too out of date for a modern movie. I don't know exactly how to tell this, but I think it should be pretty much a modern Trans-Am with modern gadgetry. Kind of like in the James Bond films. Only it is KITT which talks and drives on its own. Maybe it should have new...

As for the question of him having a home, I pretty much believe he just stayed around either at the Foundation or any hotel reservations they would put up for him. Why would they need to show him sleeping or settling down somewhere?

It doesn't really matter to me, but I'll just say out of the 4- the third one is the best. The first one just shows scenes from the pilot probably to save money. It started out as a TV movie.
