Re: Nielson Ratings for "I Wanna Rock & Roll All Knight"
Hey don't blame "Obama" Yes, blame him. I'm not talking about political allegiances. But you can't tell me the subsequent drop in ratings isn't at least partially related. If McCain or anyone else had done the same thing, we could blame them, but they didn't Obama did, so we can blame him.

Re: Nielson Ratings for "I Wanna Rock & Roll All Knight"
Is there any particular reason why NBC isn't advertising KR? I haven't seen a commercial for it in at least a month. That stupid political infomercial certainly killed the momentum, didn't it.

Agreed, I think its really dumb to get rid of him...just take out the FBI agents and sever the government connection. DON'T sever the connection to the old show!

Re: Live Discussion Thread: I Wanna Rock & Roll All Knight
That was a good episode. But they DO need KITT to do more stunts. Or at least a REAL car chase. Instead of showing snippets weaving through traffic, film a full car chase! They might have had more time if they spent less time on the 10th grade crushes. Also...seriously, Deanna is gorgeous, and while...

Re: Have yall seen this yet - changes to Knight Rider
I don't really know anything about the acting industry and how agents and unions might play into it, but with as much as Hasselhoff loves his role in Knight Rider, would he really demand an extraordinary amount of pay?

You do a good job welcoming new members into the community! (/ sarcasm) Is your ego such that only your sense of logic applies to the story? Anything is possible in science fiction. I was just tossing some suppositions into the fray based on what we saw in just one episode. I guess somebody needed ...

Re: Have yall seen this yet - changes to Knight Rider
But NeoRanger has got a good point, they're already filming episode 15, so this must have been planned either well in advance, or at least decided upon before they had any ratings ideas. I always thought the FBI connection was going to be nixxed, be it through the revelation of what they did to Mike...

Re: The Reboot- I think it is too late
A marketing push can do wonders. And how do you know people turning off in droves? And then to further assume they're doing so in disgust? Last week's ratings were low, but that was after a week off and almost no advertising.

Oh it definitely deserves it. Neil has put together an incredible site and the staff run it brilliantly, it just fascinates me how privately made internet websites can become so popularly recognized. I'm just glad to have been here for as long as I have to witness the "rise," lol

Re: Have yall seen this yet - changes to Knight Rider
Well...that's odd. I always suspected that the FBI was going to get booted at some point or another. But Graiman? Why? Who's going to give the orders between Mike, Sarah, Billy, and Zoe? And I second that I've actually started to like the friction between Graiman and Torres, but as I said, the FBI w...

Re: KR:TOS questions from a newbie
Sorry to shift the topic a bit, but since it's about questions. I've seen a lot of references to KITT first going online at the Pentagon recently. Can anyone tell me the episode in which he says that? I searched the board because I know I've read it before but I couldn't find it, thanks.

Re: Live Discussion Thread: Knight of the Living Dead
Is it really so hard to think Dr. Graiman isn't above repeating the mistakes of the past? Bruce Davison is a great actor, and I think it does him more justice to play a character who is not just another stereotypical sci-fi supergenius, but a flawed supergenius who makes the mistake of thinking age...

Have we gotten the ratings yet without some remark about Knight Rider? Every week it's some sardonic adjective/comment about Knight Rider but not for any other show. It's annoying.
Anyway, I agree with the lack of promotion, especially after a week off.

I really feel the need to point out the obvious issues and question here. KARR the Knight Automated Roving Robot was the prototype to Knight Industries Two Thousand . Programmed for self preservation, turned evil and had be deactivated and eventually destroyed. If Charles Graimen built the two thou...

The fact that this created such controversy and speculation about KARR is probably exactly what the writer's hoped to accomplish and speaks to their abilities at least in that regard.

Damn. American Idol crushes everything. I really like Knight Rider's time slot, but that's certainly an enemy to run from. As much as I would love Knight Rider to destroy that sorry excuse for entertainment, it won't, so they'll have to move it.

Now, we need a new KARR. The older one would have been rendered scrap in a fight with KI3T. The new KARR needs to be functionally identical in ability to KI3T. No, the "older one" in his old body MIGHT have been rendered scrap in a fight with KI3T. But KARR's CPU in some military robot wo...
