Re: When NBC will tell us about sesoun 2???

Bionic Woman was canceled for a few reasons including the writer's strike. First and foremost, the show was very expensive even though it was shot in Canada. Second, the ratings declined steadily from the pilot at 14 million viewers to the point where the show was about where Knight Rider is right n...

Re: Why Tores didnt take KITT's memory??

They had a clear idea of the KARR and Mike story when they went in (as far as the basics of it go) but it seems to have gotten buried within the retooling and the character drama of general plot within each episode. The fact that the producers (at the behest of the Network) switched episode ordering...

We should know something around the time of the last two episodes but they may keep it silent until after the last episode to keep everyone watching.

Re: Why Tores didnt take KITT's memory??

The fake Zoe and Torres were both working for the same group of shady government folks but Torres was more of a moderate and was working with Graiman to really build a better KARR as he knew firsthand how dangerous KARR was. The fake Zoe was sent because things were moving along too slowly with KITT...

It's an Asian broadcast entertainment network. Owned by Star. They have networks all over Asia that broadcast American/UK and localized programming. They are "Very big in Asia" as the saying goes.

More than likely. Star World has a lot of NBC Universal programming that they air in that part of the world.

Re: If NBC doesn't Renew the show, Then they should sell ...

Universal owns Knight Rider as far as TV stuff goes. It's a very profitable property for them in foreign markets due to the syndication and merchandising. They won't give any rights over to Glen Larson no matter what happens with the new show. I do think it would be very interesting to see what he c...

Burn Notice is Fox TV. USA just has the rights to air the show and finances it.

Re: Story ideas for a season 2

Okay, not to piss on your plant, but if you try to send them something, they cannot and will not use it much less read anything beyond the first paragraph if it starts to resemble a story pitch since you have no agent. The legalities of the entertainment world prevent them from doing so to avoid pot...

They are just going along with the plan they have laid out before them. A second season depends solely on the ratings that the remaining episodes get. So if you want it, tune in and watch!

All but one of the KR08 episodes are available in HD. The story summaries for the original series are hilarious to read because they are all pretty much incorrect.

Digital distribution counts but every studio and network looks at it a different way. It's hard to say what NBC's stance on it is but they seem to have embraced it as a secondary market.

No official word on the fate of the show has been released yet but all evidence suggests the show is done unless NBC gets good ratings from the rest of the episodes.

Re: SyFriday: Living In Our Own Knight World

How did network interference mess with Star Trek? Was he talking about the original series? Because TNG was so popular it spun off three more series and 4 more movies from the same period. He was probably talking about the original series or Enterprise. Those are the only two Treks that have ever b...

It was either a line flub or a writing flub. Of course there is always the possibility that they changed it after all the bitching about the name. At any rate, it's over and done with. Time to move on.

I haven't seen a single Knight Rider commercial apart from what aired with the telefilm. As far as their other shows go, they heavily promote The Office and the Law and Order shows along with their reality TV lineup. I never ever see anything for Knight Rider except the pre-show commercial that says...

From what little has been said by GST, they are going to reveal a bit of what happened to FLAG and Michael Knight (as they are in GST's reinvented continuity). What that means, we simply don't know.

Re: The story so far...

I think the story got fiddled with and diluted but basically here is what happened... 1. The Pentagon, NSA, and Knight Research (which would be called Knight Industries in the original series) jointly developed the KARR project which was to create an AI enhanced armored vehicle for use in infiltrati...
