Re: Knight Rider Season Reduced - from 22 to 17

In the end I think the show's demise was it tried to concentrate so much on all the cool techno crap, but fail to really capture the relationship between KITT and Michael. Sure there were moments, but too spread out and the creation of SSC was a terrible choice. Again studios underestimate the intel...

Re: RC3 Gives his .02 Cents

I don't think he is upset about not being in it. I think that argument might be valid if the majority of the cast was back in the movie but that's not the case.

plus he was only on for one season right?

Re: RC3 Gives his .02 Cents

If you guys thought Peter's opinion was harsh, I can only imagine what Victor Kros will have to say about it when he returns! Actually I read Victor's review on another board. It's extremely long but good. He liked more of it than most would think. Of course there are criticisms but the good and ba...

Re: question about possible censorship in foreign countries?

Lol..I know it sounds odd but living here now it really is that strict. Even HBO which you pay for here is censored.

Hell they even tries to ban a video game here with some chick kissing an alien.

question about possible censorship in foreign countries?

Currently I am relocated to South East Asia and television here is quite censored. Watching shows like the sopranos and sex in the city here is quite amusing. Being that Knight Rider has an international appeal, I am quite sure many countries will want to broadcast it. I know especially in this regi...

Re: Knight Rider 2008 music

I think the theme didn't have a catch really. not like the original. there was no mystery to it, it just was beginning and guitar rifts hard core. The score throughout the majority of the film to me was not fitting at all. Reminded me of the OC more than Knight Rider. A great score to me is one that...

Re: Everyone liked Justin Bruening?

Like David Hasselhoff wasn't a pretty boy when he first started? Don't blame Justing Bruening, he didn't write his own lines or direct himself. He is an actor told what to say, and given direction on how to say things. He couldn't improvise, change any dialogue because of the writers strike. This is...

Re: What I took away from seeing it again

Well there are definitely pros and cons using the original voice in a new car, but to me, and maybe my imagination is getting the best of me here :) but the dialogue would be interesting and colorful between Michaels son and daniels KITT. As for Voicing KITT, I don't think it would be that taxing on...

Re: In defense of the show

Shapeshifter, great post. Well I think what they did with the voice plaecement in terms of sound is better than some people have thought. Especially when KITT followed Mike and Sarah on the bridge. The voice did sound like it was coming from inside the car. Anyone who has a car that talks will know ...

What I took away from seeing it again

I have to say, once you get all the shock out of your system after you watch it the first time the second viewing is even that more enjoyable. But you know after reading a lot of the complaints on this board and many others I think what one of the missing keys is this: When you take such an iconic s...

What is the one thing that would change your mind?

I know there is a lot of upset fans out there after this movie. It's hard to please everyone especially with such an iconic show. Having said that what is the one thing that would have turned you from a hater to a fan of the new movie? *** The type of Car has been beaten to death here so please refr...

I think the mustang looked great!! the interior is another story which I wont get into here but I think the mustang works for the new series. Hopefully down the road maybe they will have to use the original KITTT's CPU due to damage of the new one (just being hopefull) and we get William Daniels bac...

Re: Threesome and Lesbian Scene Trash

Just from what i read here to sum it up I dont think its the gay vs straight thing, etc. I think its how its placed in the story its almost impossible to explain to a child if they ask because it makes no sense. If you want to have a lesbian cool. One way is to have the other woman her girlfriend, w...

I'm at a loss for words...no not really

Okay Just watched it on Hulu. I guess it helps when you have less commercials so I was able to get a better flow of the story. Anyway, my little review. Being fan of the original like most of the demographic that watched last night, I have to say they hit on some good stuff and failed on others. Thi...

AICN talkback on the TV movie....Ouch!

Okay, I haven't seen the movie yet being overseas and all, but while this site was non accessible due to the traffic Ithought I would try and find some other reviews of the movie tonight and so I stumbled on AICN. I reserve judgment until i see it myself but these are some of the harshest and funnie...

Re: Kilmers voice

I watched the clips again but used headphones for the sound and you can tell the sound isn't completed yet, meaning mixed, final music etc. It comes off more like temp tracks mixed in with some final sounds. Also some of the scenes, the casino one especially seemed to be a bit flat in terms of color...

It would be nice if NBCU would open up HULU.com for international viewing. They keep saying it's coming soon. Hopefully this happens before the 17th.

Re: On Being a fan in the past and future

I think what the formula was back in the 80's when it came to shows like the A-Team, Night Rider etc. was not only did they do cool things, have cool cars etc. but the actors all had strong personalities. Their Vehicles had personality. Say what you will about David Hassellhoff but he had the overal...

Re: Was the original KITTs dash ment to shape shift?

I don't think it was meant to shape shift but from what I remember, KITT was quiet when strangers where in the car unless he was introduced or needed to speak to Michael about something urgent. Hence maybe only the necessary instruments were lit. However watching the series again the continuity was ...

Re: how much.....???

Yeah they are probably doing it in CGI. A lot cheaper than trashing multiple cars for a movie. i think i read somewhere they went through like 15 firebirds per episode? I assume they haven't finished a lot of the post by the time the trailer hit so it makes sense. Turbo Boost was iconic for Knight R...
