Re: wow, official news

Thank you, Vic. I don't know how much you will be into the BSG project, but would you mind to keep us updated in this matter on these boards here as well, if it's okay with the admins?

Re: wow, official news

I know this is a bit off-topic, but I have just read the news that Glen Larson is about to bring Battlestar Galactica to the big screen. Read the Story here: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=53111" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Victor, can you comment on that...

Re: Live Discussion - Don't Stop The Knight

Hi everybody. I'm reading these boards regulary but (unfortunately) I'm only at rare occasions active here. Like everyone elese I was surprised by how much better this episode was compared to many others we have seen thus far in season 1. This is the way to go. If they keep the direction, it'd be a ...

Re: News: Hasselhoff to return as series regular!?

Last we heard, Hasselhoff and NBC still have their own issues to work out and nothing has been conceptualized or written yet. This type of stuff can change every day, so I'm not saying my word is better than AICN - I just don't want to have everyone get their hopes busted if it doesnt work out. May...

News: Hasselhoff to return as series regular!?

Hi everybody! The not-so-supportive AintItCool.com has got very good news about Knight Rider's future online: The producers of Sony's 2009 release Anaconda 4 (or whatever it was called) which stars David Hasselhoff said they're going to make more of them, but it won't star David. He said that David ...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: A Hard Day's Knight

NBC brass bailed on the flashback scenes (you can pretty much see where they were supposed to go) that dealt with Mike's past as "too dark." Pity. Is this just a guess or a fact? I really liked this episode. Saying that, I liked all previous episodes too, one more, one less, but this one ...

Re: Live Discussion Thread: A Hard Day's Knight

i like the way KITT could turn into a Van and the police car and the mission impossible referces. But where was the stuff of Michael's past? Guess we were misinformed about that NBC brass bailed on the flashback scenes (you can pretty much see where they were supposed to go) that dealt with Mike's ...

Re: Gary Scott Thompson Interview - Part 1

Duster, my gathering from that quote is basically that he wants this show to be the type of show that anyone can turn on anytime and not be completely lost as to what's going on like...well....LOST. I'm sure some of the story elements from the Pilot will be carried over but the audience will not ha...

Re: Gary Scott Thompson Interview - Part 1

First of all, the interview itself is really good. But then I don't know what to think about some things that have been said. Basically the first episode will be the template of what the series is going to be. You don't have to have seen that 2-hour, let's put it that way… Storywise or what is he re...

Yep, I too believe the series should start right where the pilot ended, with the first mission being in Prague. Seeing how Mike and KITT really get to know each other should definitely be a part of the series!

Re: Whose story arc is it, really?

You are right, Michael. The way you have described it is certainly the case in the pilot, but I doubt it will be in the series. An indicator to this is the dialogue between mike and KITT at the end of the pilot in the plane, where Mike asks KITT if he can drive and that it will become a habit. Of co...

Re: da Plane! da Plane!

Nah, the bluescreen work looked okay. The last CGI shot looked a bit too artificial, but it was okay too. It is a veeery long time ago that I have seen TKR and I have to admit that I haven't seen every episode. I thought the series sucked ;) Anyway, I couldn't remember there was a plane and I didn't...

Re: In defense of the show

Thanks again, Shapeshifter, for giving us your insights. The part with the script being cut down because of budget and time reasons was completly new to me. In my opinion this fact shows how good the script and the production was, since this pilot still is so much fun. I do believe that the series w...

Oh guys, come on... are you serious? I really don't understand what your problem is. Maybe it is because I have a lesbian in my family and that is nothing special for me, but what is the big deal? She is a lesbian, so what? They introduced the character of Carrie and one of the first things we learn...

Re: POLL: Grade the pilot

Right! It seems to me nobody got this. And having a plane allows the show to set some stories in different locations all over the world. To what extent they would use this is partly up to the budget of cource. But all in all this could be another cool story element.

Re: POLL: Grade the pilot

I voted for "I love it" and "make it into a series with minimal changes". It's true, I loved the movie. It was easy entertainment, just like the original Knight Rider was. I don't mind that KITT didn't show too much of his skills. That's what the producers said the whole time. If...

Re: NBC Knight Rider Electronic Press Kit, Part 1

Kinda funny how these interview excerpts has been cut together. Escpecially the one with David, you can see him stand up for a second. That said, I think the one with the Hoff is the most interesting one, although all these clips are the typical promotion blah blah... but that's the point of it, I g...
