In a bunch of the early season one episodes. there is a beautiful orange Karmann Ghia in many of the background pics. There is also an orange AMC Gremlin with white stripes that makes appearances in at least 5 or 6 episodes in season one.

Definately, actually, I was just reading Motor Trend, reviewing a XLR-V, and something about one of the pics just screamed KITT to me. The thing is it's only a two seater. Also, it's not exactly a popular or well-known car, and I think the movie would be a great promo for the 2010 CTS coupe.

anywho, the producers of the show (correct me if I'm wrong) are ignoring Knight Rider 2000 anyway, so I'm guessing they'll also ignore Team Knight Rider.

I would have to say that KITT is not Michael Long's car.. First off, the features and technologies integrated into KITT are so extensive that it would make more sense just to build the car from scratch, rather than dissasemble and modify it. secondly, I hearken back to a dialogue in "Trust Does...

so how is this a direct threat to KITT replicas? It's an interesting story, but the title is a bit misleading. Honestly, I don't think it'll pass, it would be too much of a waste and inconvenience.

Definately not the same car. the stripes on the car are gold in this video, whereas the real KITT's stripes are matte black. not even the GT500KR.

the SPM Mustang actually does look a little like KITT, the other two, not at all.
