Re: To everyone that knew Taoworm/Joshua READ!

I haven't posted on this board for a very long time but I wanted to offer my deepest condolences to Joshua' family. From what I read on his threads to the contribution and help he provided fellow fans, he will be sorely missed. Joshua was one of the good guys on KR online, his passion, creativity an...

The last of my Batman collection for auction

Not even sure this is against board rules, if it is mods please delete. Anyway, I've been selling alot of my stuff in a drive to make money for a flat deposit. So far its been going well with much of my Knight Rider stuff and all my Transformers gear being sold. Still debating what KR gear to hold o...

Re: A Question about Team Knight Rider

Hmmm, doesn't sound too far removed from KR08 at all. Was a modest sucess internationally anyway, new top brass came in and wanted to do their own thing. KR08 gets cancelled. Personally, I really liked the KRO episode. Might have more to do with having a sleek black sports car as the villian in the ...

Re: why does it take so long to make a KNIGHT RIDER MOVIE?

Thanks Victor. Sounds like a frustrating but necessary process in getting the film going. I've lost count of the amount times I've heard another studio involved in the KR film....so each time a new script has to be written!

Re: why does it take so long to make a KNIGHT RIDER MOVIE?

Hey Victor, I wonder why you need to start over when a studio lets their option expire? doesn't that mean that the same script/conceopt can then be optioned to another studio? Just curious as I don't really know how studio contracts work. I'd assume that once a contract has expired, then your able t...

Re: The remains of my KR collection on ebay

Thankfully both me and the driver of the other car came out without a scratch on either of us. I don't really want to think what would have happened, had I not managed to catch the first slide (which had me heading head-on into on-coming traffic) before it tank slapped the car around sideways into t...

Re: The remains of my KR collection on ebay

Well the ebay auctions (or not!) were more of a success than I originally predicted. Unfortunately I had a car crash (my fault entirely) on Monday, so it looks like I'll need to generate more money than I originally planned. I still have a few KR items left but these really are prized pocessions (si...

The remains of my KR collection on ebay

In an attempt to make a clean break for 2010, I am in the process of selling off the remains of my Knight Rider collection. At one time in the past this was an unbelievably large collection that I was struggling to contain it in my house! over the years a very large chunk of it was auctioned off on ...

Re: Knight Rider artwork: Revival

Thanks everyone, glad you all liked it. The reflections were a key aspect of getting this painting looking right. The other issue was trying to keep the cars looking black but still reflecting the surrounding blue and sand tones. Its harder to see in the photo but more visible on the painting itself...

Re: Knight Rider Marathon - UK

Have I missed something but SciFi was showing KR08 at for two hours today, Fiver was showing the pilot for KR08 and Bravo was continuing the original KR fest. I understand the last two, but I assumed (incorrectly) that as Fiver got the rights for KR08, SciFi would stop showing it. Its abit of a KR f...

Re: Missing scenes in the pilot from the UK DVD boxset?

Cheers Skav. So NTSC games converted to PAL run slower, DVD's run faster

I think I'll be picking up the NTSC version on my way to LA in a few weeks.....and ofcourse the original series

Re: Missing scenes in the pilot from the UK DVD boxset?

I thought the speed of NTSC vs PAL is only a reflection of frame rate, not actual time. Think NTSC is 75Hz compared to 60Hz for PAL. I have DVD's of the same film (including the original Knight Rider) from PAL and NTSC and never has there been an obvious difference in time. 2 mins is alot considerin...

Re: GT 500 problem

To be fair to Top Gear, they were very positive about the Roush Mustang. Most if not all the UK reviews I've read about the GT500 have been negative about the cars handling. You don't have to be a pro to see how much the car wallows in the corners. Its fine for the US highways but it will never be q...

Re: Could Ford have possibly backed out?

From the information I gathered speaking to people within Ford martketing, it was purely down to the ratings and not due to lack of Ford involvement. As Solid has already said, they were very happy to mention KITT in the press releases. In the current age, they would be more than happy to continue t...
