Is there another car model that resembles KITT?

Like is there another car model besides a Trans-AM that you saw which remainded you of KITT? I remember coming out from my college like last week and I saw a shiny Jet Black mustang (the newer model) and it looked like a 2005 version of Kitt. I wish I remembered the model name of that mustang car.

There have been many versions of the Firebird, however, the traditional setup or trim level (as most have pointed out already) has been Firebird, Formula and T/A. In addition to the S/E (which existed as a 2nd gen as well), there was also the Espirit in the early 70s, the GTA in the late 80s, the &...

Firebird is the general name for the car. It came in three main versions: the ordinary Firebird, Formula and Trans Am. Each is a step up above the other. Occasionally every few years, the Firehawk version was released which was the most powerful in terms of performance. K.I.T.T. was the Trans Am ve...

OORRR....you can buy a trans am body and install a 4 cylinder engine and save some really big bucks!!!!.....I've seen it done twice! Since I have an efficient car, 2000 Civic, I think if I would go to the trouble of swapping the engine I'd put some big ole V8 in it. For a rare car they show up quit...

Some base model Firebirds did have the Pontiac "4-tech" (no, not Tech 4 as some call it - trust me as I have the SAME motor in my Pontaic 6000). The motor was also called an "Iron Duke" because it is all cast iron. They are GREAT on gas, and they really are reliable and sturdy. ...

A Trans-am/Firebird that won't eat out of your wallet.

Gas prices around my way in Queens is getting to be $3.50

I am worried about getting a Trans-am/Firebird because of this gas guzzler probelm.

Well, If you stop to think about it, most may consider that statement the other way around. The Camaro and Corvette were on the market before the Trans Am ever came out. But The Camaro and Corvette sukk they only fit 2 people THE Trans-Am/Kitt didn't copy off of it they fit 4 to 5 people Plus The C...

I agree with neps and TurbomanKnight. I'm in western NY and I have a 1987 Pontiac 6000 tricked out to look like a hotrod. I had to call cops on some neighbors earlier this year. Two days later a razor blade was found face-up under my front driver-side tire (I still have pictures of it). :( I have T...

New York is one big road rage slash Turf War. Hell No, I ain't parking my car on any street. Even if it's still a stock Trans Am. Nobody cares about other people's cars. For example, On my street we play football. The other kids I play with have no mercy for parked cars. Yesterday I was hanging out...

Corvettes and Camaros are KITT wannabees

I get pissed off when I see both of them because Chevelot Corvettes and Camaros look like they stole the model (and Idea) from the Pontiac Trans-Am/KITT.

They are just fake KITT's

Later I will supply some links as proof

Pontaic should sue Chevolet

I would say you wouldn't want to keep a replica on a New York City street. You put thousands of dollars into it, and then it's paint job gets scratched while some idiot in a Hummer tries to parallel park. No thanks. It sounds like more trouble than it's worth. Yeah I feel you on that one A black pa...

I was getting over 20 mpg with a 1988 5-speed V8 Firebird. Got it up to 26 mpg on long trips. In its later years the milage went down as I didn't take as good care of it. Always use super-unleaded. But Mike I don't understand it, u would think that with all those stunts KITT did and how much Michae...

Around 14 mpg on a good day with my V-6. Sucks more with a V-8.
