I think the image quality looks very nice, yes there are some errors in digitising, but that's not very annoying!
The missing soundeffects, that's annoying.

I think this info is true! David has said, they have the rights back, so they have greenlight. I like the original show very much! The movies of Dukes of Hazzard : The Reunion! (1997) and the Dukes of Hazzard : Hazzard in Hollywood (2000) was with the original cast and I like these movies very much!
I think I don't like the new movie! But I haven't seen it yet.
