Re: House Of The Rising Sun Location Disclosed

Haha so awesome. HOTRS and Comtron all within the same several days. Amazing how all of this stuff is right under our noses. I've canvassed the city a million times myself... I probable looked right over it. Search and rescue isn't in my future! Funny, HOTRS and Comtron are very close to one another...

Re: House Of The Rising Sun Location Disclosed

I should have waited to post when I had my files handy, rather than use the pictures referenced in the “Locations” thread about the Cal Islands location as a matter of convenience. The house in the lower left of the picture below had looked similar, though not really clear. It does look really simi...

Re: House Of The Rising Sun Location Disclosed

Ok, three things. 1) Awesome! I'm stoked that we can now check HOTRS off of the to-find list. In a way, I was actually kinda sad because I had been looking for it for so long. I had done a TON of research in the Santa Clarita region looking for it, but could never find anything of much substance. Od...

Re: Bonnie: is it a coincidence, or was it Glen's humour?

Could be... that's an interesting thought. Although I wouldn't say Bonnie is very unusual. I've known 3 Bonnies myself (unfortunately not the "real" Bonnie!).

Rob Louisell Knight-Inspired Banshee Nose For Sale

Hey everyone, I have an original Rob Louisell Knight-inspired Banshee nose for sale. It is unpainted (but primed) and has only been installed to test for fit (which it of course it fit), it has never been driven with the nose in place. Here is my eBay listing for it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/R...

Re: Locations ?

Was just watching Matlock (episode "The Angel") and the FLAG mansion on Arden Rd. is used pretty extensively inside and out as the scene of a murder.

Why am I watching Matlock? Guilty pleasure. I'm a sucker for a good whodunit.

Hasselhoff's and Mulhare's Friendship

I was just thinking the other day about how it seemed like David and Glen Larson's relationship kind of reminds me of sibling rivalry. They're both older and still seem to pick on each other. Does anyone know how David's relationship was with Edward Mulhare off the set? Edward seemed like such a lik...

Re: Locations ?

Sorry in advance. I didn't feel like nor have the time to look through 30 pages, and the search function wasn't cooperating. But have we found the supposed toy factory from A Good Knights Work? I don't recall seeing it.

Is Patricia McPherson acting again?

I don't think she is. I'm pretty sure she gave up acting a long time ago to focus on the Ballona thing. This IMDB link below shows two Patricia's. Weird stuff. Each with different info but both show Warehouse 13 as the most recent gig.

Exactly.

The one you speak of is still out there (hopefully) somewhere.

Re: Locations ?

Am I missing something here? This thread about Comtron talks about a building with a stripe, but I just see a streetview image of a gate, and the screen capture of the girls walking from what someone reckons is the gate. What building? Whats green pointer? Where exactly is this Comtron building? Wh...

Here's the streetview from Google. Obviously the perspective is different, but looks a lot like water back there doesn't it?

Cool - can u pinpoint it on a Birds eye view Bing map please? Coz I can't find it. I notice there was also a daylight shot - and it appears to very pale grey. Re: Locations ?

Ok.... so here I am watching KOTP again, and spotted the Beaulieu (pronounced Buuuley), but after the first time you see the building, there is a second shot from 'down a hill' up to a building. It's not Beaulieu in that second shot though - different chimneys. Anyone got any ideas? Wish I knew tha...

For us slower people (me)...can you point an arrow to the Comtron building? I'm just not seeing it... Joe As far as I understand it, there is no Comtron "building" as such in the shot 1982 is referencing - in the Pilot universe, Comtron was supposed to be located across the street from Th...

OK, here's what I found out. I just did a complete scan of Rive...

Re: Locations ?

Ok. I've decided to go with Bing Maps and not Google. Personally, Bing is on the upswing if you ask me due to the edge it has over Google thanks to its Silverlight experience. The Birds Eye and Streetside views are hands down better than Google. I don't know yet if Streetside is less prevalent than ...

That first one is in Santa Clarita and I think posted earlier in this thread - maybe Lyons Ave? Can't recall without searching again.

The second one is, what, the Old Road up in Canyon Country? I'm only guessing because I don't feel like looking through the whole thread.

Re: Locations ?

Good news and bad news. Bad news first. I think we can pretty much rule out the House of the Rising Sun being Cal Islands. This does not mean, however, that the House of the Rising Sun didn't sit at Sierra and Via Princessa - it just means it never went by the name "Cal Islands." I posted ...
