Re: The Hoff's PERSONAL KITT in the Hollywood Christmas Para

Ha ha, I wonder what KITT would have thought of that request!

Can't wait to see it! :)

Re: The Hoff's PERSONAL KITT in the Hollywood Christmas Para

That's really cool. I'll have to make a note to watch the parade!

But I have to ask - what's with the gull wings?

Re: Did you buy the Knight Rider digital comic?

I bought it from the Amazon Kindle Store so I could have it on my computer. I bought it because it's KNIGHT RIDER! I'm so excited about the new stories, new direction, new possibilities, NEW KNIGHT RIDER!

I'd heard about it. There's a memorial page for him put up by one of his friends. I have no idea how he died, though.

Sad, that, but completely understandable. Still, if you ever find the time and get a hankering, I'd love to see you there. :)

Re: KARR's scanner in "Trust Doesn't Rust."

I have been watching so many eps lately I can't remember which one I saw this in, but it was a 3rd or 4th season ep. I had to back up the DVD and watch it again to be sure I saw what I thought I was seeing. KITT's scanner was brightly and continuously lit on the left side, but on the right it was sw...

Re: Possible RPG on Dreamwidth?

If you like. I've never heard them called that, but I like the name. :) Not quite a round-robin fic, as it's an on-going game, but sort of the same idea.

Hee, you're pretty good at this. Maybe you should consider joining. :D

It's all text based, online journals. I'd love to go for it, but without other people, I'd be playing by myself. XD

Re: "Toy Hunter" (a bit o/t)

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this. My mother worked at Kenner for many, many years, and every so often she was able to bring home some of the market-tested toys for us. At one time, I had the Knight Rider voice car that was on display in their corporate office, along with the box and instruc...

Possible RPG on Dreamwidth?

I've been talking to some people in a few different places about the idea of creating a musebox RPG on Dreamwidth for Knight Rider. I've had some conditional interest; most people are adopting a wait and see attitude, not quite wanting to commit without others doing so first. My idea was that it wou...

I haven't checked the price on the Corgi lately but I need to replace mine. Last time I checked it was a bit too expensive for my budget. Here's to hoping that will drop in price, too.

Re: Would KR have been better if Michael carried a weapon?

I agree with Mr Smith and Micaela Knight. Having Michael carry a gun would detract from the focus of the show, the friendship and teamwork between Michael and Kitt that kept Michael from NEEDING to use a gun.

Re: Was Rebecca Holden good?

I never understood all the hate directed at April. I liked her character, and though she wasn't Kitt's 'mother' in the sense that Bonnie was, she cared for him just as much, and provided a nice 'feminine' touch that Bonnie sometimes lacked. I know that some fans also had negative opinions of some of...

Re: RPGS?

Boosting the signal on this in a last-ditch effort to generate interest. The reserves/applications are currently open for the game on Dreamwidth that I play my KITT in, and I don't think I'd know what to do with myself if any other Knight Rider characters were to show up there. I would be beside mys...

Re: Favorite lines?

The one that I always remember is from the episode, 'The Rotten Apples'. I think it's just brilliant:

Michael: Where does Old Canyon Road go?
KITT: Were I to hazard a guess, I'd say into an old canyon.

Always brings a smile. :)

Re: RPGS?

Honestly, I usually play DDO on my own. I've tried playing in a party and it's too fast-paced for me, lol. And I was just clarifying because I wasn't sure if you were familiar with the board-style RP. Which you are! :)

Re: RPGS?

Hmmm. Maybe we're not talking the same type of RPG? For instance, I do play DDO - Dungeons and Dragons Online - and yes, some of those sessions require being able to put aside a good chunk of time to complete any one quest. But the game I'm in on DreamWidth is panfandom, journal and text-based, wher...
