Re: British comedy sketch - Knight Rider

Wouldn't it be great if there was a way to use modern CG graphics to create fan fiction grade episodes for viewing in YouTube??? you'll need a video camera and someone to film you doing your hasselhoff impersonation. you could do the driving and stunts with modern 3D apps like blender, or even a co...

mmm, no. a Mustang just isn't futuristic or sleek enough to match what i think of as KITT. it reminds me of Robocop driving that shatbox Taurus.

Re: Kitts scanner on the mustang

The firebird was a futuristic design, sleek and different. The mustang is a retro design, blue collar and brutish. Ford could have allowed the use of the Ford GT, which would have been a better fit and actually looks like a fast car. I'll bet the show didn't help sell any more mustangs. Changing the...

If you seriously want a screen-used miniature, i suggest you contact several prop dealers in the LA area. also keep an eye out for prop auctions.

Re: Knight 2000 SPM Matsushiro 1987 reverse fault?

Anyone? Just got hold of. The problem is, its not a speed issue. The RC car is very twitchy and sensitive. It keeps wanting to go in reverse every time you switch the remote control. But if you move it forward and keep a constant speed, its fine. sounds like an electrical fault with the forward/rev...

Re: Devon Miles Knight Rider Canon

The 'tomato on wheels' can be seen every now and then in the original series! It's just a picture on the wall of the semi's interior and has always been open for debate on if it really was the 4000. But, the similarities are a darn close match. One could watch the entire show over and over and...ma...

Re: J.J. Abrams can save Knight Rider

Just because you don't like the mustang that it should not be kitt. The mustang is not a terrible car and the camaro & corvette is not a terrible. Just me i like the mustang as kitt. But nothing will replace the third gen trans am kitt. it's supposed to be a futuristic car, not a retro 60s thro...

That vette looks (and sounds) more menacing than the lame Mustangs they shoehorned into the remake.

They don't have any KR stuff at the moment, but keep a regular eye on http://www.screenused.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for props that may turn up. (it'd be a nice site to blow a couple grand).

Yes, as i said, i used the MPC knight rider kitt kit. no one else noticed the seats
The figure is actually from Preiser's Adam kit. i added his hat and painted him. i've yet to pose it all in a diorama, which was the plan originally.

While i didn't like the movie, i did like seeing the 82 t/a driving around. i dunno, it seems like they didn't have any ideas what to do for this movie, like they just re-shot the other movies. same script, same jokes, same... oh never mind. The rods on the side look like standard hydralic struts that all 3rd gen firebirds/camaros have. they lift the rear hatch when it's unlocked. the other thing is just called a privacy blind i believe. a 99 camaro would be a different shape to that one, but i'm sure they are available aftermarket.

pfft. writers are stupid. Anyone that give computers emotions need their own head read. a computer is not a computer when you give it emotions. star trek has the same problem, all their tech ends up with emotions and goes haywire (data, enterprise, holodeck, EMH, etc). ah well, its only a tv show......

Re: Jupiter Electronics KARR's Voicebox question

Your best bet would be to contact the supplier directly. for 12v i'd get one of those plug packs and solder a socket to suit on the voicebox to plug it into. as for the box, it should by my reckoning have two wires for the power and two for the input signal.
